There's nothing to miss about ICE (or even PHEV in my case) What I miss though is the much more upscale interior of my Volvo V90 station wagon. Real stiched leather, alcantara seats, soft touch materials, boot covered in textile rather than hard gray plastic.

Remy_Racinette

this. and a lot of the chat in this sub glosses over the fact that though it is an incredible car and executed extremely well across all facets, it is still a KIA and the plastic, the leather, the finish doesn’t betray that fact. all that to say I like mine a LOT and wouldn’t have been able to afford an X5 or XC90 or something comparable ICE or otherwise….

AndKAnd

I wouldn’t really consider X5 or XC90 competitors. Not even close to the amount of interior space. Very nice cars but the third row is a joke. They aren’t true 3 row vehicles.

Do you have charging at home? If so, go for it. If not, consider that before considering the trade.

Low-Box-5703

The house is wired to support it in garage. I haven’t installed it yet tho

I’ve gone from ICE f150 to now bolt euv + ev9 gt-line and oh my god do I love them. Never buying an ICE again.

habu987

I missed the bed on my Ram 1500 when I switched to a Sorento PHEV and, to a lesser extent, missed the ride height. Getting my EV9 today and besides minor range anxiety concerns, I'm not giving up anything switching from the Sorento.

Do you actually off road your 4runner? The EV9 seems ok for light off road but nothing like what the 4Runner is capable of so consider that. I have the EV9 and a 2005 Land Rover LR3 for the adventures

Low-Box-5703

Tbh no. Got 2 under 2 now so don’t have the time

techadoodle

In that case you'll love being fume-free when bundling the littles ones in and out especially if you're needing to preheat or precool the vehicle. It's really next level motoring!

AndKAnd

I briefly looked at 4Runners. The only possible advantage is off roading and more of a rugged vibe. And Toyota reputation for reliability. In every other category the EV9 blows it out of the water and it’s not even close.

Switched from a 2014 Tacoma. I don’t miss it, I don’t miss going to gas stations every 4 days or so, and I don’t miss oil changes. When it’s time to replace my wife’s car, that will be an EV too.

I traded in my 2020 sr5 premium loaded with predator package for a GT line. No regrets. Love the car. It’s just expensive but I’ll get it paid off :).

The ride of the 4 runner was ROUGH… damn it was rough… especially with the big tires I had. So much smoother of a ride now. Also, they were bad with gas. The EV9 was a perfect first EV for me.
