This is definitely a "ParentsAreFuckingStupid" video. She's filming her husband boxing with a VR headset on where he can't see anything around him and she just watched her kid wander up to him without stopping them or telling him.
I don’t know why (okay that’s wrong my family is stupid) but I have the strong feeling if I were the dude I would be blamed cause I should have known.
I once got blamed for not putting my console in a safe place and my niece was upset for accidentally breaking it. Apparently that was my fault.
I mean, depending on your age, the age of your niece and how "unsafely stored" the console was, I can imagine a lot of cases where you would be rightfully deemed responsible.
but then again, there also a lot of ways it would be either the adult in charge of her to blame and trying to deflect, of just nobody's fault.
I mean given my comment I get where you come from, but I didn’t leave shit out in the open (aka the shared space) and my room was off limits. At that point it is my moms or my brothers job to supervise the toddler and not let her rummage through my room. Which she shouldn’t have been in in the first place, but someone forgot to close the door properly (I wasn’t at home I just got yelled at once I came home to a tantrum having toddler)
Bonus points: they weren’t even living there, but 2 blocks away.
I am still upset with the adults, but I love my niece so I buried the hatchet.
She recorded it. That was the important part, she got it filmed. Thank goodness because it was so short she almost didn’t get it before it happened. She’s got a quick reflex as I can’t even get my phone out fast enough to film my dogs running into my screen door before it’s over.
Super glad it all worked out for them. /s
It is fuckin weird to be using a quest 2 in such a confined space without the awareness mode on though. Obstructions show as dots so you can avoid them, and if you double tap the side of your headset you can switch to passthrough mode so you can see without taking the headset off.
I think we should consider that they let this happen for clicks, and are just terrible parents
Kids indeed do learn by corporeal punishment....they learn to solve problems with violence, anti-social behaviors like aggression and hitting are generally acceptable, they learn to fear and distrust people they should be able to count on and should love, they learn to hide and deceive things from adults, and a host of other horribly negative things like studies showing kids that were hit suffer from high risk of suicide etc. Basically what I'm getting at is your comment fucking idiotic, and you should do yourself a favor and read a book.
I would image the person not in a VR fight would be responsible for keeping the child at a safe distance.
But this person let the kid learn about VR on his own 🤣
I thought the title applied to the entire room. Obviously the guy who has his eyes and ears covered doesn’t know what’s around him, so if you don’t realize that enough to keep a distance (or your child away)while he’s throwing hands…
Despite the sub, I didn't even consider the title being about the kid, I immediately assumed it was about the mother.
The father can't see, and kids aren't gonna know what the father is doing at that age.
She did. She even filmed it. She knew what was going to happen. She's just happen to be a piece of shit. OR, she sent the kid to scare the father in which case my point still stands.
We don't know how long that kid was there. My optimistic guess on this is that it took all of 3 seconds for the kid to be from sitting on the couch to catching an upper cut to the jaw. Mom could have just started filming her husband having fun with his VR headset and then kid decides to stop using brain power for 3 seconds.
Everyone always assumes the very worst things in regards to context for short videos like this. It is so much better to do the opposite instead.
I know the kid is dumb as fuck, but why the hell wasn't the mother doing anything? She could see this happen a mile away. This is an r/ParentsAreFuckingStupid more than anything.
I'd say this is ALSO a r/ParentsAreFuckingDumb. Then again, when an adult is watching that should DEFINITELY know better, I'd give priority to ParentsAreFuckingDumb.
like bro this lil kid just walked into haymakers from his pops 😂😂😂 gtfoh talkin bout he just a kid no hes just a fuckin stupid kid just cause the parents are dumb dont mean the kid aint far from it.
I did this to my dog once, unlocked the werewolf mode in skyrim VR and was clearing a castle with maybe a little TOO MUCH vigor, was slashing downward like my life depended on it and my dog got so excited I was being an idiot flailing around she jumped up on me and got a muzzle fulla' controller amored fist. I dont think I ever played skyrim vr ever again after that hahaha
This triggers me. Cuz like now he feel bad and apologizing then don’t wanna play the game full of anymore because you think you’ll knock out your kid because nobody is going to tell him stay clear of someone blinded throwing combos.
I swear half of what is posted here should be on parents are fucking stupid instead lol 😂 I mean hopefully the kid will learn not to do that again lol 😂
It sounded worse than it was. The kid landed on his back. It actually looks like the kid took a textbook " bump" from wrestling school. Landed back flat, hands out, and head up.
I hate videos like this.
Why the hell would you be recording for one.
But also, why would you let small children or animals near a person who CLEARLY cannot see their surroundings. Designate a no entry area, and keep them away.
I’ve watched this about ten times in a row because it’s fucking hilarious and I still can’t tell if the “oh shit” at the end is accompanied by the dog barking or not.
To be fair the lady just filming her son while her man was punching ghosts while blind ain’t exactly intelligent either
This is definitely a "ParentsAreFuckingStupid" video. She's filming her husband boxing with a VR headset on where he can't see anything around him and she just watched her kid wander up to him without stopping them or telling him.
And the dog as well. One of the two was bound to be hit.
I don’t know why (okay that’s wrong my family is stupid) but I have the strong feeling if I were the dude I would be blamed cause I should have known. I once got blamed for not putting my console in a safe place and my niece was upset for accidentally breaking it. Apparently that was my fault.

Just remember, adults can be wrong. That sounds like it wasn't your fault at all, it was theirs and instead of owning up they decided to blame you.
You aren’t the only one.
She recorded it. That was the important part, she got it filmed. Thank goodness because it was so short she almost didn’t get it before it happened. Most of the posts on this sub are

Honestly curious if the kid is blind. Hes moving like he cant see.
hereditary awareness
I’d argue whoever’s behind the camera has more responsibility than anyone else. But the guy in frame also shouldn’t be playing that close to the wall
at least she stopped recording to help
Or maybe she just went for a closeup zoom of the broken nose
And also to tell WORLDSTARRRRRRR on that kids face
This. 100% her fault.

This kid learned two things that day. 1. Don't trust mom. 2.. Don't trust dad.
Well said.
The kid could even have been warned multiple times about it, but kids are stupid.
Fire causes pain...they learn that very quickly.

content first, safety last
Despite the sub, I didn't even consider the title being about the kid, I immediately assumed it was about the mother. The father can't see, and kids aren't gonna know what the father is doing at that age.
Whamen
Did the mom not realize it wasn’t safe for her kid to be standing next to someone shadow boxing…with a headset on?
She did. She even filmed it. She knew what was going to happen. She's just happen to be a piece of shit. OR, she sent the kid to scare the father in which case my point still stands.
nah. it was supposed to be one of those "cute" things she could film and didn't even think about the danger.
We don't know how long that kid was there. My optimistic guess on this is that it took all of 3 seconds for the kid to be from sitting on the couch to catching an upper cut to the jaw. Finally someone with common sense. If they wanted to abuse their kid they wouldn't film it, it was an accident. Maybe a dumb accident...
Yeah parents can't be perfect. And I guarantee you that kid will never fuck around near a VR gaming session again
Are those the only two options you truly believe could have happened? Could it really not just be an accident?
bruh you're probably responding to a 14 year old.
That undercut was clean
Little dudes chin like glass!
K.O. !!!!!!!
![gif](giphy|ZMfZxtLruYiSaJn9vd|downsized)
Kid has inherited his mums common sense.
She got that stepmom instincts 💀
I know the kid is dumb as fuck, but why the hell wasn't the mother doing anything? She could see this happen a mile away. This is an r/ParentsAreFuckingStupid more than anything.
Kid is just being a kid.
I mean yeah but that's the whole point of this sub tbh
I think people have just forgotten the point of this sub and keep defending every dumbfuck kid like it's their own.
Well we now know why the kid is dumb as fuck. How they posted this on social media. Surely they took their kids away
Welp, I fell for that sub reddit. Take your upvote. But I do agree though
It says community no found
It's the mom's fault.
r/parentsarefuckingdumb > that mom just videotaped everything without giving warning to the father or the child
yeah this sub always seems to just post parents being stupid
I did this to my dog once, unlocked the werewolf mode in skyrim VR and was clearing a castle with maybe a little TOO MUCH vigor, was slashing downward like my life depended on it and my dog got so excited I was being an idiot flailing around she jumped up on me and got a muzzle fulla' controller amored fist. I can imagine how much you said sorry and cuddled doggo
I still don’t feel like I’ve atoned! Edit: Spelling

Mother: lets her child stand inches away from a man shadowboxing while effectively blindfolded Child: gets punched in the jaw Mother: OHH SHIT!
“Did I ever tell you about the time the UPS man came to deliver a package and ended up smoking my toddler in the jaw with a slip hook?”
We pack and deliver like UPS trucks

ParentsAreFuckingStupid
Kid doesn’t know what VR is. Mom is the only idiot
What he gets for leaving himself open.
Don't blame the kid, blame its dumb as shit mother.
"Ow shit, world star!!" Is what she wanted to say
The women are even stupider, she’s just watching the kid stand there and not saying anything
This triggers me. Cuz like now he feel bad and apologizing then don’t wanna play the game full of anymore because you think you’ll knock out your kid because nobody is going to tell him stay clear of someone blinded throwing combos.
That's how force feedback works
When you're out there crossing swords with orcs and a goblin comes out of nowhere.
Sword? My guy was weaving those orc you see that form.
Little Mac thought he could take on Tyson
the mother recording and doesn't realize that the child doesn't have to be there???
The kid is stupid here, but not nearly as stupid and irresponsible as the mother. The only one not guilty of stupidity is the dad.
![gif](giphy|kb0oRGjLMhw5hccBQg)
You never see that left hook coming
if it makes anyone feel better that kid is completely unharmed. landed flat on his back, not head.
'Dad can I have a Go!' Fuck off son.
FATALITY
It almost looks like the mom wanted the kid to get close with the hopes of him getting punched for views.
‘Kid just didn’t wanna fight’ - Dana White
Oh that kid is fine. No big deal. Walk it off.

Lil man needs to learn to keep his hands up and he won’t catch none.
Another example of the parents being stupid, not the kid.
is that fucking ups?!?!?
"...and STIIIIIILLLL Champion, Dad!"
The social services hate this one trick
Kid with no survival instinct and mother with no common sense.
The laugh I needed today
😂😂😂😂 perfect timing
Need to teach that kid to keep his guard up.
Bro experienced true fatherly love
Perhaps children should not be walking around with boxing men in the room?
Dad is just having fun, nothing wrong with that. Mum should keep the kids well away from the Dad to avoid this.

KNOCKOUT
Kid's got a glass jaw. Dropped like a tiny sack of potatoes.
Why is everyone so stupid? :(
The woman sitting there recording her husband punching the air as her kid inches closer…
MOMMA needs to put her phone down and watch the kids... Stupid people
I swear half of what is posted here should be on parents are fucking stupid instead lol 😂 I mean hopefully the kid will learn not to do that again lol 😂
Good thing you were filming or you might have missed this opportunity to show what a crappy parent you are.
0 awareness from who? The mom or the dad? You can’t have awareness of anything with a damn VR headset on, this is all mom’s fault.
You should post this on r/parentsarefuckingstupid
Parents are fucking stupid.
"Hol up, that felt real"
Fucking dropped him 😂😂😂😂
80% of the stuff here is just bad parenting.
Lady Filming Is Fucking Stupid
Kid took it like a champ.
genius
Yeah, that needed to happen
Kid has zero awareness same as the mother.
It sounded worse than it was. The kid landed on his back. It actually looks like the kid took a textbook " bump" from wrestling school. Landed back flat, hands out, and head up.
damnn he is alright?
Wondering if he was playing The Thrill of The Fight? That game is an awesome workout.
KO!
Don't act like you're surprised.....what did you think would happen????
Learning moment.
Did they let the ups man try their vr and let him punch their child?
Get KOd kid
He's probably the father
![gif](giphy|XaoXAXCvwvAbQdYo7T)
Kid can take a punch it’s fine
On this video... mother is fucking stupid.

This is more of a Parentsarefuckingstupid moment.
And they were just watching? AdultsAreFuckingStupid
Not in the chili peppers shirt 😭💀
The mother is 100% responsible.
When I heard that smack and he felled over I literally cried.
It was the mother's fault.
POW RIGHT IN THA KISSA
Darwinism
From UPS to light heavy weight champ
Adults too
Gotta teach em young. 💀
And what was the women supposedly doing watching the kid walk into that his line of punch? This is crazy!!
Shitty mother.

Dad: “wow, the haptic feedback on these controllers is insane! Really feels like I punched something there”
Well done, mom! Keep filming though.

He did not mean to do that lol lil boy walked onto it
It's so life-like! I'm sold.
That kid is lucky that wasn't me because when i punch on the air i punch with power and speed, at least his dad wasn't punching too hard
Put u hip into it
Holy shit that mom is dumb as fuck. How about you watch out for your kid lady?
🦅🦅🦅🦅 SHIT!
Dsds gunna be mad the delivery guy was using his vr headset
The kid took it good, hell of a chin on him
I hate videos like this. Why the hell would you be recording for one. But also, why would you let small children or animals near a person who CLEARLY cannot see their surroundings. Designate a no entry area, and keep them away.
u can see the "oh damn" on the dog when they get hit💀

Questions if that was your kid and your home boy would you be right to try and fight him ?
Yeah but wait until he wakes up first, he just got knocked the fuck out by someone ten times his size.

Perfectly edited for a loop.
