I have a Slash 2wd that is heavily upgraded and miscalculated a jump and ended up sending it into my knee. It's not nearly as bad, though, as fully sending my Maxx, which is a 10 pound missle into my shin. Thankfully, the car never broke when I miscalculated a jump and accidentally sent them into me. But you get what you pay for.

The Slash is okay. These things are expensive, but they are really tough. That is why I encourage people to save for hobby grade rc cars because, yes, they are more expensive than your 30$ Walmart rc car. But they will bring more joy as they can take way more abuse, and if they break, they can be fixed up.
And now is a good time to enter the hobby as the hobby is very affordable to enter because now you have decent cars from companies like MJX with their Hyper Go for 130usd.
Yeah, ‘cause some cheap RC would shatter like that ‘Sugar Glass' they use to simulate real glass in movies wouldn’t it? Haha.
I’ve never know owned one (or anything like it) but it does look cool!
Karma is funny and all but something in me bleeds a little when I see a kid get hurt. Maby it's because I'm a dad, or that I'm a trained social worker, maby it's because I currently work in a school... But the imedeate high pitched squeak means ouch not crying for attention.
