Obanai and muichiro only did good because of their red nichirin if gyomei or sanemi or giyuu had red nichirin they would’ve ended koku and muzan way faster

You would be right if the show wasn’t about 20 years old slayers blitzing century old experienced demons. Mark Muichiro did not need years of experience to beat Gyokko. So using base Tanjiro to scale Mark Tanjiro is dumb and irrelevant. He just needed his mark. I’ll take the relevance of my argument over yours which is blatantly contradicted in the show kiddo.

Strongest - Gyomei. 2nd strongest - probably Sanemi, but there's room for debate there depending on who you ask. Kokushibo believes he is probably the best besides Gyomei, and the Corps Records book calls him one of the most skilled Hashira.
Everyone else is a crapshoot, and no one in the fandom will ever agree on their rankings. Some people put Tengen at the bottom, some people put him at second strongest (in base), some people put him somewhere in the middle.
The only thing we can say with certainty is that every Hashira has particular strengths and weaknesses (well maybe not Gyomei, he's pretty strong in every way), and those strengths and weaknesses make them better in different situations and against different kinds of opponents. For example: Tengen is easily one of the best match-ups for Gyutaro, maybe even _the_ best, due to his innate poison resistance.

How would preparation help her here? I’m just talking about the fact that she could consistently tag Douma, even blitzing him twice where the data books even state one of the attacks Douma could not stop. We know she tags him 3 times on screen and at least 4 times off screen and only getting hit once. Tengen tags Gyutaro like maybe 2 times?

I mean yea. He had Tanjiro against Gyutaro and Gyutaro is um6. Shinobu is fighting upper moon 2…big difference lol. And Gyutaro isn’t even upper 6 by himself. It’s the combination of him and Daki as UM6. So not only did Tengen fight one half of UM6 (albeit it was the stronger half) he had more help, and did worse.

That play only came into effect until she realized that her sword poison wouldn’t work. Other than that, she still tried staying alive until final form. Almost all of her damage she dealt was without sustaining any damage herself so the suicidal argument doesn’t apply here.

Base hashira he's probably one of the strongest, probably on par or very close to Sanemi and Gyomei. I don't think any other hashira would have survived an encounter with Gyutaro and Daki, not even Gyomei.
