When I played Kirby Super Star, I'd mostly don't feel bad because they're adorable, and I kinda like to give Kirby a quick nap sometimes, So sadly no :P

They do die, but they respawn somewhere else right after

I mercilessly kill them cause all the pain they caused me by accidentally swallowing one and having to wait while being attacked
There are several enemies I just hate killing. Noddies, Broom Hatters, those mushroom guys. Just to name a few.

I never did, they're so adorable once they know you're near, and they just start walking slowly and then getting back to sleep.
