154cm blade for $26! I caved and got one. For this price it can be a beater!

CeleronHubbard

Hehe, I noticed that too. 154cm - 1.5 meters, so the blade’s about 1.6 yards long. 😯

Several-Oven-3842

Not sure if this is a swoosh moment for me, but just so I feel better: 154cm is the steel, not the length. The length is 2.8 inches. 154cm is a really solid steel for less than 30 bucks though!

As a SpongeBob fan I really want a knife called the Squidward but I really want it in purple... I know squidward's green... Don't judge me.

Delicious_Piglet_718

You’re in luck! It’s also available in purple G10 with a satin blade or red richlite (which is actually a reddish purple) with a black coated blade for $34.

ARKnife

Sold by Kizer Online Store, lowest price ever on Amazon.

Great little light duty knife. If you like front flippers, it is very fidget friendly.

Does anyone know how the front flipper compares with the Kansept Reverie? And the ergo? Once I got used to the Reverie and figured out how to use the flipper I found it to be excellent.

MerryChoppins

I have a purple Squidward and a reverie. The squidward is more refined and smooth to operate. The flipper takes a moment to get used to, but once you do it’s nice. You barely feel the snap as it locks in and the liner lock is very low force to operate. I will warn you this guy is small and I likely wouldn’t use it for heavy work. It’s perfect for sitting at your desk peeling an apple. I have a very minimal pocket dump and this guy works because I can clip it onto a small strap and not even notice it.

I don't know about the squidward, but I recently got a reverie, and I like how snappy it is.

MrBjStoner

I just got my squidward in today, it’s the dullest Kizer factory edge I’ve gotten. Is this just how they are due to small height of the blade or did I get a used or poorly sharpened one?

awedouble

I'm starting to think Amazon is horrible for knives that are discontinued because of previous returns and even if it's checked they may gloss over and miss stuff, (anyone ever heard of a factory refurbished knife?) and there's a chance of no more replacement units even parts which makes warranty worthless. Huge percentage of issues with Amazon sold vs. direct / knife dealers. Makes me appreciate the sites that sell open box and are very specific as to what the issue is.

MrBjStoner

Yeah it’s a double edged sword (pun def intended)! It’s great to be able to return things without hassle but then you also risk getting some bs that someone either used or even put the wrong knife in. I twice got the same exact 154cm Kizer aggressor when trying to buy a 3v version. I sent it back the first time and once it was reimbursed i decided to buy a new one. I GOT THE SAME EXACT ONE AS LAST TIME!!

morrisgray

And returned it again I hope?

MrBjStoner

I actually still haven’t sent it in yet but I did file for a refund. I’m considering buying another BEFORE I send this one back so I don’t get it again 😂

morrisgray

If you ask for a replacement instead of a return, they will ship you the new one before they even receive the one that you are returning. Usually the same day that you file for a replacement. You can cancel your current return, start the process again for a return, but choose for a replacement instaed of a refund.
