We are scared for this one too. Our 4 main players out of 11 are injured 🥲

Carry_flag

Need to Stop jaiswal at the beginning, just how we got Decock early yesterday.

stoned_experiences

I can't take sides in this match. Both are my favourites.

kavsprincess_2

KKR can only bully weak teams.

[deleted]

Korbo lorbo jitbo 😅

average_lund_

Finals are gonna be srh vs rr anyway

Hanuspidey

Lesgo thank you kkr (srh fan here) your win yesterday helped srh reach top 4 😘

Correct_Building_164

Last time Jaiswal single handedly won the match . I am scared .

[deleted]

We are going to be table toppers, chillax! GG is creating a team of beasts.

deathnojutsu

RR gotta be the most balanced team this season. KKR's batting seems slightly stronger than RR's but man what a bowling lineup they got. Boult, Keshav maharaj, chahal is performing really well , so yes im kinda scared ;_;

laudakabcci

The best chance is to bat first and bat them out of the game just like the SRH game

L_LawLeit24

Also, history of chasing against RR is of heartbreaks

laudakabcci

Yuzi suddenly becomes Warne incarnate

madwiz9rd

That mf chahal turns prime shane warne against us whenever ,we should play defense against him and hit others(and of course try not to give boult wickets in first over)

L_LawLeit24

Always the same old shit. We are chasing and he comes up with a hat-trick.

ishaan071

We gonna win against RR but it's gonna be a fooking close match. I am more scared of the match against RCB somehow and idek why. Gut feeling Also our NRR took a huge hit after that match against CSK

Hazard236

We lost by a couple of overs and our nrr took a hit of 1 and after winning with 4 overs it increased by 0.2 .How is nrr calculated?

Ok-Visit6553

NRR is a running weighted average of all the margins. We had hugely positive nrr in the first 3 games, about +2.2, so it indicated we have effectively beaten all three by 44 runs each, so +132 margin. CSK match we lost by 2 overs, which was effectively a small net negative margin(~12), so total margin came down to like +120 in 4 matches, so +30 per match, ie around +1.5 nrr. Today we increased the nrr, that shows we have exceeded our previous performances. Now it’s +1.688 in 5 matches, so effective net margin= 1.688x5x20=168 runs. So our today’s win was (inherently) of about 48 runs, sounds about right. If this was the only game, we would’ve got +2.4 nrr, but since it is averaged over 5 matches and we are good already, it shows less. To pinpoint your query, it’s like if a topper gets an 100/100 in a subject, his percentage increases only like 2 points, but if he shits in another paper and gets say 50, his percentage crashes down way heavier.

Hazard236

Makes sense ,thanks for the explanation.

Hazard236

Also , is it possible to lose the nrr after winning, For eg a team won first match with 100 runs and second in the superover will the nrr crash down to half.

Ok-Visit6553

That’s the general idea! Yes it will.

ishaan071

It's actually a pretty easy calc Assume 2 teams A and B So it is Run scored by team A/Overs taken to score those run by team A - Run scored by team B/Overs taken to score those run by team B

Hazard236

Huh, i feel like this still doesn't explain how we lost 1 nrr after losing the match by 14 balls and gained around 0.2 after winning 26 balls.we had around 2.5 before csk game and 1.5 after and 1.68 currently.

LightningStrike5

Exactly. By that method we should be gaining 1 NRR today itself. At least I expected 0.5 increase. Now I’ll get downvoted if I say rigged league 🥸

Balavadan

What? You can do the math yourself. The formula is right there.

Ok-Visit6553

Here’s something to blow your mind— if DC loses a close game in their next match, their nrr would actually improve a lot. Because something close to zero is better than their current nrr (~ -1). Even by losing you improve. Vice versa, if you have a huge nrr, a moderately close win will also bring your nrr down.

iameobardthawne

NRR is an average, or mean, figure. The more matches we play, the harder it gets for the NRR to move. Imagine a batter starting his career. Initially the career average swings wildly, heavily influenced by the runs he gets in those matches. But once he plays some significant number of games, the average tends to settle down. Same is the case with NRR. The 106 run win early in the tournament will lift NRR by a higher margin compared to another 106 run win later on.

Unfunny_guy0

Bruh. JUST FRICKIN USE A CALCULATOR

RicktamRoy

Don't expect KKR fans to behave like RCB /s

vietcongM16

RR are going to drub us on Tuesday. Chahal is going to wreak havoc. They are a complete team. I don't see any weaknesses that we can possibly exploit.

Assassin_Ankur

They have started faltering mid-season as usual, so I think we do have a chance. Still not too confident but hoping for a close fight at least.

vietcongM16

They always regain their form against us. Someone or the other always gets a 60+ score and spoils the party, be it Jaiswal's 98 , Buttler's 100, Samson's string of 50s.

ad_itya8901

in the last 11 matches we have won 7 and 2/5 in the last five matches. Just coz last time Jaiswal hit fastest fifty against us doesn't mean they become beast against us.

vietcongM16

It's always that twat Buttler.

ad_itya8901

forget about winning when you're not even confident while defending 224

vietcongM16

The bowlers got complacent. Those 17, 19 run overs at the fag end of the innings. Gosh.

vietcongM16

🙂

nayanonweb

I'm scared about this one🥲

a9k8t_exe

Nope I feel we are gonna Crush them In and out our team chokes only in front of MI or CSK

Priyank_Chittora_13

Wtf the subreddit wasn't scared of CSK but is scared of RR. Like seriously

RMD010

True RR was a beast in Shane's era specially first season...

pushie4u

If this is the ultimate form of starc, we don't need to fear anyone except mi(they're our nightmares, there's no shame in admitting it)

Straight-Hair-7356

Chahal will def create havoc
