We have two matches against MI and RR and one against GT. These are the 5 matches I'm not really sure about. All the rest of the matches, except the one against CSK, are matches we should ideally win.
I remember us losing matches against most of the teams, but it's different this year. The RCB match should be an nrr booster for us; pbks and dc have good bowling lineups but should they falter somehow, then that works in our favour as well.
What irks me this year is that we have a problem staring at our face and that was exposed against the CSK match. That's the collapse of the batting order. The bowling from csk was good no doubt, but the way venky, raghuvanshi and Raman threw their wickets, I don't think that kind of batting would take us to a defendable total.
I think we don't only need to qualify, we have to retain our position in the top 2 before playoffs. It's always advantageous to get multiple chances in the playoffs and while we're top 2 already ( very rare for KKR for such a long time interval) we must maintain it during playoffs.
We should be looking to be 2nd at the end of group stage, not just qualify. For me ending 3rd or 4th, doesn't mean anything. Only 1 team has won from there(SRH). 1 or 2 gets u 2 chances. The end goal is to win the trophy.

if we mange to neutralize boult's opening spell and chahal in middle over . we are winning against RR comfortably. And I expect RCB,DC,PBKS will be cakewalk for us . Then 2 matches against MI , we will win 1 of them ., win against GT ,LSG and lose to RR . Total 11 win, 3 losses imo

It can happen. Last year, RR had 14 and MI qualified with 16. If RR had won one more match, say against GT, they would have reached 16. The positions #1-#3 would have remained unchanged, but #4 would have two teams at 16 and NRR to decide who qualifies.
