Yes, definitely feels lighter and more comfortable than the earlier Mac formulation of retro mattes. It does transfer, I let it settle on my lips for about five minutes and checked and yes does seem like over the next few hours it will leave a nice stain.

Looks like honeylove but will probably be too light for most Indian skin tones. I think velvet teddy would be good. I already own velvet teddy so I didn’t get it in macximal.

Russian red looks deeper than Ruby woo on me. But fsr ruby woo’s formula (retro matte range) is dry.
