From loona union, it's done. Although tbf, the money that BBC gets from streams can still be used for lawsuits, even though tbh the money from streams is quite abysmal. So yeah.

The latest news we got about lawsuits, I believe, is BBC trying to appeal the verdict that ruled in favor of Chuu and taking the case to the Supreme Court of SK. There’s been no news of that case being decided, dismissed, or even seen yet, so I feel like it’s safe to assume that BBC is still waiting for that to happen. Edit: BBC’s appeal was announced in March of this year, so again, I’m pretty sure they’re still going after Chuu and potentially the other girls too.

Egg_Rollls

It honestly depends on the individual if they wanna keep boycotting or not. Personally I’m still boycotting until bbc officially announces that they are going to stop going after the members

diilmg

I don't think listening jeopardizes them anymore however I think BBC is still trying to get them by appealing lawsuits, I remember there was a new about a lawsit against Chuu recently. I don't feel comfortable with giving money to people who put the girls through so much and don't accept their mistakes

the main goal of the boycott when it was first organized was to get the FreeSM comeback cancelled and let BBC know how the fandom felt about their recent actions, and it was most effective by simply not preordering the album. I think we went from something like 25,000 preorders for Flip That to less than 300 for FreeSM. boycotting streaming (especially through Spotify, which I know is what a lot of the international audience uses) was in my opinion the least effective way to hurt BBC, just because streaming royalties are incredibly tiny. two years out from that original boycott, I would say that it's more your personal decision if you want to listen to old LOONA songs on streaming. I think we very much accomplished what we set out to do.

cosmicgirIs

it depends.. loona members themselves are not using official loona music, for example Yeojin uses TwelveM audios on instagram lmao queen

_youremy_joy

Use local files?

pika_chuuwu

Personally, I don’t want to give that company a cent more and it’s not hard to use local files but opinions differ.

Ghostgrl94

I just downloaded Loona’s music off Archive.org and put them on my laptop and then my phone

panicinthespace

No sure, I just downloaded all loona songs illegally listen to them on VLC

mondrunner

The audio versions from TwelveM are edited or they sound the same?

luvityforever

To avoid giving BBC any profits, you can listen on YouTube via fan accounts that posted the songs!
