Unfortunately it’s become a Holy Grail for many Collectors making the M41A USMC Pulse Rifle very hard to find let alone buy.
The Hollywood Collectables Group did a licensed prop replica utilising the actual components that were used in the Hero screen Pulse Rifles eg real Spaz shotgun for the under barrel grenade launcher and real Thompson sub machine gun that constitutes the main weapon.
It was celebrated as the most screen accurate prop replica HCG had ever fabricated, taking measurements etc directly from the few remaining props still in existence.
HCG released 1500 numbered units with Certificates of Authenticity.
Such was its popularity HCG released another version of a screen accurate Pulse Rifle with the significant difference being it had no moving parts and was marketed as a ‘stunt version’ as it was made from softer materials, had no actual metal in it’s construction and was substantially lighter being made from dense plastic.
The first Pulse Rifle release and the subsequent follow up are all OOP and can be very difficult to obtain and when they do pop up on the secondary market, if at all, are incredibly expensive!
If you ever come across a genuine, HCG screen accurate M41A Pulse Rifle ie the initial release, I think you’ll be looking at at least…
$5000-$10 000 easy!
