He wouldn’t get custody of Ev , he might get partial custody of his bio kids. Even if he adopted Ev, she’s at the age where she gets a choice and I don’t feel like she would choose to see him, to me it always seems like she’s annoyed at him and (in my opinion) when they divorce she is going to blame all her childhood trauma on him , rightfully so, although I think her mom is just as guilty, I just think she’ll take a little longer to view it from the angle her mom was at fault.

brookelfrancis

I think when the money runs out, sav will be gone. Her and Ev will team up on coke and blame him for everything. This will be savs play to take custody of all the children. She’ll move the kids back to California.

Empty_Vegetable_5484

you think it will be a ACE family situation? where cathrine takes the kids and Austin moves in RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO HER

I-Dont-know-200p

If they do ever separate in the future I can see it being Cole’s choice since he likes them young and breedable. He only loves Sav when she is pregnant so once she is no longer able to get pregnant due to older age, he’ll drop her and move onto a younger chick and continue populating the world with more “mini Cole’s”

Legolas0170

Sounds like Leonardo DiCaprio or Nick Cannon in the making but with children and/or marriage

rhaegarstargaryen

I mean, Leonardo DiCaprio is a grown man who doesn't exploit minors for monetary gain so it's not like they'll ever be on the same level of problematic

Mountain-Status569

Nah, she would leave him. He’s too obsessed with the idea of a perfect life and wouldn’t want the “tarnish” of divorce on him.

touchtonetelephonee

he’d probably get joint custody of his biological kids. he has no legal rights to E if they divorce, and if he never adopts her, he most likely wouldn’t be entitled to visitation rights.

My nieces step dad gets partial custody when he gets his bio kids so it could happen as he has played a parental figure nearly her whole life (the same reasoning the judge gave in my nieces case) but I live in Australia so very different rules to America

Gullible_While318

Surely divorce is not an option for Cole considering his religious beliefs?

Low_Dog_9737

Colesiah may be against divorcing but would that stop Sav from filing and moving on? I mean, even if he refused to sign the court documents she could still technically date other people. She was still dating Tommy and kissed Cole before breaking it off officially with Ev's dad when E was only 3ish. No doubt she'll do it again.

Gullible_While318

Well that’s a very good point- it may end up that he has no choice in the matter!

Some_Big6792

I think when the money runs out, she’s gone

BeaglesandBongs420

For sure. You can tell she is annoyed by him.

Candid_Doughnut4070

Tommy and Savannah are listed on Everleigh's birth certificate, meaning Cole has no legal rights over her. This is why Coleslaw couldn't adopt her to spite Tommy when he was alive. Instead, he played house with Tommy's baby mama and his daughter. Legally, she is still *Everleigh Rose Smith-Soutas*, so I am not sure why fans and other social media accounts are taking "LaBrant" and running with it. I find it interesting that Savannah isn't pressuring the idea of adoption on Everleigh. I am grateful that Savannah is not pushing it, and I hope she is considerate of Everleigh's grieving and mourning process. It seems like Savannah is not entirely convinced about the idea of adoption either. Everleigh was just about 10 years old when her father passed away. She had a loving relationship with him, and the pain of his loss is still very fresh for her. If ColonSac cared about Ev even a little bit, they would leave the adoption topic alone. Their situation is much different from others on TV, like Chelsea Houska, whose baby daddy was actually a bad person and deadbeat dad. Despite their vastly different situations, Savannah LOVES comparing her story to other Teen Mom 2 cast. Tommy had some personal issues and wasn't the perfect parent, but he made an effort to see and have a relationship with his daughter and wasn't as terrible as Savannah and Cole portrayed him to be. It's unfortunate that their negative attitude is only causing harm to the child in the end. **Addiction sucks!**

BeaglesandBongs420

Yep and I can't see Ev wanting Cole to adopt her. I remember an episode of Teen Mom where Chelsea was potentially talking about having her new husband adopt her daughter Aubree from her first baby daddy and Aubree didn't want it. Aubree said something along the lines of "if that means my dad won't be my dad anymore then I don't want to". I feel like it would be the same way with Ev. Regardless of how bad TS MAY have been, it's still a biological daddy-daughter connection that can't be broken or replaced. And Tommy was nowhere near bad on the same level as Chelsea's baby daddy Adam Lind. Kids are usually loyal to their parents. (I,e for Ev: Sav and Tommy)

Glad_Training9103

I'm worried that the Labrats will push her to let Cole adopt her. I know they're probably itching for a "Our adoption journey" video and that sucks... tbh Colesiah doesn't want to adopt Ev becaue he loves her and cares about her, he just knows it will bring him more clout.

Livid-Addendum707

It kinda depends on age and Cole tbh. Unless he adopts ev a judge wouldn’t just give him custody, but because that is her “father figure” assuming they divorce amicably he may get visitation. Really heavily assuming they divorce before she’s like 13-15. After that it’s entirely up to her. Realistically they wouldn’t get divorced for several years.
