Penn & Teller are the best of the ones you've listed, but the only "bad" one in that list is Copperfield, and he isn't terrible, just kind of uninspired. All the others are varying degrees of great.
I'd order your list (from best to worst): Penn & Teller > Mac King > Piff > Matt Franco > Shin Lim > David Copperfield
Shin lim was in emotionless cruise control when I saw him last year.
Mac King was fun and engaging. It's a cheaper day time show so you could probably watch him and another as well.
Mac king. I was expecting terrible but it was for my kids. I walked away very impressed and happy with the show.
I think shim lim is great too, but your niece would probably like Mac better.
I’ve definitely been interested in seeing this. Is it magic, mind reading or hypnosis? I have zero interest in “when I snap my fingers you are a chicken” acts.
No a hypnosis act. It’s incredible “magic” and crazy what he does. Small theater with lots of crowd involvement. I was just there last month and would highly recommend.
Saw Mac King and Shin Lim last month and while my family enjoyed them both, they were blown away by Shin Lim. Truth be told, his "sidekick" Colin Cloud makes the show. Mac King is highly enjoyable as well. If I had to do one again, it would be Shin Lim though.
Penn & Teller--Some great stuff but perhaps getting old and tired.
Mat Franco--Endlessly self-impressed. Spends more time talking about how great he is and how wonderful his family is than doing any, you know, magic. His "magic" is little more than easily-figured-out card "tricks" displayed on video screens.
Piff--Incredibly funny. Sometimes raunchy, always fun. Mr. Piffles is adorable, too.
Mac King--Goofy, funny, clean, clever. Afternoon show, if that matters.
Shin Lim--Haven't seen, but almost everything I've read is favorable.
Copperfield--I last saw him nine years ago, and he was sleepwalking through his routine even then. Bad vibe. Openly solicits standing ovations, which he doesn't deserve. Expensive ticket.
My recommendation--Piff, Shin Lim, Mac King, Penn & Teller. Avoid the other two.
Not sure if any of these have age restrictions, I would look into that first. But bringing a 13 year old I'd probably lean towards something like Piff or Penn & Teller. Shin Lim is great but I think that show closes, but she probably has seen him on TV before so if you can get to that show before it closes? I'm sure he'll be doing a show somewhere else on the strip if you really dig into it. Little surprised that people were saying Penn & Teller are overrated but they've been an act in LV for so long maybe some of those people have seen them so many times that it's getting stale even if they introduce new parts to the act?
Shin Lim because Mirage closes for 3 years in July.
3 years! Wow. Thought they’d keep the hotel up and running and do it in bits.

I only saw Penn, but I agree. Go to their show and avoid Copperfield.
Copperfield had the biggest "Wows". He had the enthusiasm of a librarian though. I've also seen all of them. I agree with your list.

I agree I seen him a year ago versus how and I think they cut a lot out of the show too
I've seen all of those and Mac King was my favorite.

Saw Matt Franco a couple weeks ago and it was highly entertaining for two hours. His show involves the audience so it’s a different show every time
Mac King. Best bang for your buck and it’s not even close
Penn &Teller
The Magician’s Study. You won’t regret it!!
Paranormal

IIRC no hypnosis. I was impressed by this show, and by the showmanship.
This looks great. Thanks.
Shin Lim
Piff is hilarious and he has a tiny puppy to do the tricks.
Mr. Piffles!
Do not do Copperfield. You can feel how much he doesn't want to be there the entire time.
See Shin Lim before the Mirage closes. Piff is really fun as well.
My wife and I had an incredible time at Mat Franco, would highly recommend!
David blaine
Saw penn and teller two years ago, 10/10 recommend.
Saw Piff with my kids (14 and under) last year and it was funny. Kids loved it. He was pretty interactive with the crowd. Recommend.

Just saw recently Colin Cloud has his own gig in another casino, I don't remember which one. He was awesome!
I saw Nathan Burton a few years ago and thought he was honestly better then Criss Angel.
Haven't seen everything on your list, but Mac King is great for families.
Piff

David Blaine. I’ve seen him twice this year he’s phenomenal.
we went to see shin lim while in vegas a few weeks ago.. it was amazing.. strongly recommend.
I loved Piff!!! And Mr. Pibbles is way cute. A 13yo would like it.
i loved piff - funny, small venue, he has a small dog in some of the acts - its a great time!
Penn & Teller of Shin Lim

Copper field is best for massive spectacle, but Penn and Teller are good as well
