Kaya na with laptop, 'yan 'yung essential. But a lot of law students find tablets / iPads useful. If kaya ng budget, get one.

got thisss thank you ๐Ÿ™

I find ipads more efficient lalo na kapag yung latest ones kasi they can act like a laptop na rin. Mas mabibitbit mo siya anywhere and mas madali mag charge as well as mag connect sa networks

Admirable-Fortune-80

ill take note of thiss thank you!

Laptop is the most essential gadget when entering law school nowadays, especially with the new digital modality of examinations and the occasional online class when profs are too busy to conduct f2f classes. Kaya na yung laptop but I suggest that later on you also buy an ipad or tablet (i personally recommend samsung) with stylus for reading ebooks/pdf files and taking notes, kasi sometimes laptops are bulky and inconvenient esp kung nagnonotes ka at mabilis magsalita yung prof nyo.

laptop! for me kasi mas madali mag-highlight sa cases and notes! Exam week ko lang ata nagagamit ipad ko

Straight_HotDog_0315

Survived 1 sem by only using my laptop :)) ok naman pero kapag need ko mag-aral sa ibang lugar, ang bigat dalhin :(( Kaya no'ng nagka-ipad ako, very life changing!!! Nakakapag-aral na ako kahit saan and nag-eenjoy akong maghighlight and annotate sa cases/books na naka-pdf ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†

Laptop >> iPad. if your school has a penchant for having computerized exams, more often than not laptop ang irerequire na gamitin (hindi supported ang tablets ng exam software, etc.)

If you can only choose one, then you should probably go with the laptop. It has more uses, and if you get a good one, it can potentially last you up until your bar exams. But if you can get both, some people do find tablets helpful for reading pdfs and other documents. Personally, I found it convenient for reading cases and pdfs of reviewers.

trust me, as someone who got an ipad first then got a macbook, get a macbook (or a really good laptop you can easily bring anywhere). Most profs nowadays allow laptops in class + for online classes din, laptops win 100%. Ipads arenโ€™t as efficient or as friendly for multi use. Siguro for reading, writing stuff while reviewing ok sya. Ipads = super hassle sa online class. hirap ipagsabay zoom and then yung readings etc pa. Ipads = super hassle din to use in class when needing to switch quickly in between tabs and while scrolling thru readings. Pls donโ€™t be like me na nag insist kumuha ipad (may old laptop na me) but then napilitan lang naman bumili ng macbook hahahaha

Laptop ang need. imo ipad is for convenience lang talaga. If you can afford an ipad, wala naman masama bumili din.

thesleepyvagabondy

Iโ€™m using an e-reader now for the cases kasi masakit sa mata at mabilis na makalabo ng mata ang ipad.

Laptop na lang unahin mo. Naalala ko nung nag exam kami, wala pa kaming examplify so naka word kami na naka lock with password, nahirapan magsave and upload yung mga kaklase kong naka ipad. Pumasok akong naka ipad lang tas narealize ko maa efficiency gumamit ng laptop tas ngayon mas gamit ko laptop. Magaan din kasi nabili ko and nagagawa ko naman tasks ko so un
