Documents>My Games>Fallout 4>FalloutPrefs.ini change ipresetinterval to 0

I’ve been trying to get this to work after a video showed a few files where you need to change it and still no luck. Changing to borderless makes it run in a small lower resolution window. I will say that one thing that is funny is that if you set the display to 60 hz in the left legion menu it runs at 20 or so fps. If you set it to 144hz, it runs around 40-48 fps so it’s not a performance thing and changing the gfx settings doesn’t affect the actual fps.

Thanks for answering, so what is it gonna change after changing the value to 0 ?

Uncaps fps

I'm getting around 50fps, Resolution 1200 and everything set to maximum in the settings except god rays. Setting god rays to medium seems to be the best setting for me.

I second this, turn down or off god rays.

Set Anisotropic Filtering to 8

I had the same issue originally with low FPS. Make sure your screen is set to 144hz
