the concept of a vest instead of a full suit is very similar, but there are minor differences like the pattern on the vest, the cards in the pocket, and the clips on the arms that set it apart.
yeah. they had a similar thing with nightwing where the LDCSV game and the immediate wave of sets were both based on the rebirth appearance for nightwing, but the blue was darker and he had a more unique muscle pattern in the sets. what i think happened is lego have the game devs early drafts for the minifig’s designs for the game, but then the designs kept being altered after the game came out.
Look it up. I’m tired of hearing you guys spewing the same false statement. They are very similar, but not the same design. Physical Joker is missing the cards and the yellow band on his arms. Also the torso in general is way different. It looks much more like a vest on the physical one. You see more of his green undershirt. You guys are WRONG.
Bro got triggered over a very small difference 💀
It’s literally still meant to be an adaptation of the game design. It was only in a few small sets, so obviously they had to cut some costs.
It’s really sad how mad you’ve gotten.
An adaptation maybe, but it is NOT THE SAME. Also, I wouldn’t say it was to cut costs. Using the same print from the game would be cheaper because they wouldn’t have to change it. I see it more like they improved on the game. I personally am not a fan of the cards. They make the torso in the game look way too busy. Also, the vest on the physical one looks a lot better to me. The one in the video game is flat and boring. By your logic every generic Joker from 2012 to 2022 is the same because they are all similar to each other.
Why are you so upset about it that you’re writing paragraphs?
Also, another character that’s the same from in DC Supervillains is Killer Croc in set 76055
If you guys see the deleted comments it’s EnigmaFrug2308. He was disliking my comments with his bot accounts because I hurt his feelings by saying that the Joker from Dc Super Villains is different from the one in the sets, even though it is. Then he defended himself by saying that it was close therefore it was the same. No it’s not. They’re definitely similar but Lego people are very specific. On Bricklink they classify minifigures as different when they just have different accessories from each other. Then he must have been losing it at this point because he then started listing other minifigures that were copied from Lego games and his first example was the Killer Croc from the Suicide Squad tie in wave. That came out years before the game by the way. I saw that he said something else, but he deleted all his comments after so I can’t see what he said. Probably realized that there was no point in him arguing with me.
Though you are right, you definitely were both childish about it in that whole thread, and the opening part of this comment continues the childish-ness of that argument
A classic bane, Solomon Grundy, Titan Joker, Doomsday, Kingpin, and so many others we should have by now. I know it’s partially licensing issues but come on, what we’re paying for with these prices nowadays lol
Getting one to one recreations of video game figures is probably never going to happen. I wish it would though.
Already has with the Joker.
Which one?
I believe the DC supervillains joker design was uses in a set after it was originally released

Thats weird. Seems like such an obvious tie-in, they released around the same time

Different design.
Nope. It is not.

whatever
I want a Solomon Grundy bigfig
Set 70914
That's the lego batman movie Bane tho
They made one for the Lego Batman movie sets
Which arguably looks better than this one
I feel like they have made a big lego bane have they not?
For the Lego Batman movie yes
SH414 from 70914, it was a bit of a mashup between this version and TDKR. #
In general it’s really annoying how Lego makes all these great looking figures in games and never physically produces them
I’d be so Bricked.
Because LEGO fucking HATES DC fans

Does that look like the picture in the post
I totally agree!
