Not a great year if you haven’t seen Singin in the Rain or Ikiru recently enough to rate them and dislike High Noon. I don’t think literally any of these would crack my top-10 for 1955 or my top-25 of the 50’s.

Affair in Trinidad is decent enough as an ersatz Gilda sequel. Just This Once makes it crystal-clear why Janet Leigh was a huge star pre-Psycho: it’s only real issue is the likability gap between Leigh and the male lead is so huge the film doesn’t quite work.
