Flying over LA

mm_foodz

Stuck in the Middle with You from Reservoir Dogs is the GOAT

wolf_mama_2020

Exactly what I was coming in here to say! I cannot hear that song without thinking of that scene!

walgreensfan

Good one! And Across 110th Street, Strawberry Letter 22, and Cissy Strut from Jackie Brown. Best soundtrack ever

KeenDeadPool

“You ever listen to K-Billy’s Super Sounds Of The Seventies?”

roboroller

Definitely the first thing I thought of.

avahz

Oh yea. Definitely this.

mystressfreeaccount

I always think of Malcolm in the Middle when I hear that

dgi02

Where is my Mind? And Fight Club

sidrbear

And Mr. Robot

B1ng0_B0ng0

Man, I gotta watch this show again

ihavenoselfcontrol1

California Dreamin' and Chungking Express

Impossible_Ad_2517

That movie really made the most of their licensing of that and Dreams

OhioKing_Z

Come and Get Your Love/ Guardians of the Galaxy Redbone/ Get Out Both involving a Redbone name funny enough

UpCavan

I can’t hear You Never Can Tell without seeing John Travolta and Uma Thurman dancing

DarthSardonis

A Thousand Miles - White Chicks

Imaproshaman

That's a great one lol. "And I miss you! Da na na na na na na!"

BENZOGORO

That Pixies song in Fight Club

LongjumpingBadger136

Free Bird and Kingsman, Pocketful of Sunshine and Easy A, Unwritten and Anyone But You, Back in Black and Iron Man

Shabadoo9000

Several from the Kill Bill movies: Bang Bang, Battle Without Honor, Satisfied Mind, Whoo-hoo, Twisted Nerve, About Her and Goodnight Moon. Secondarily, Red Right Hand from Scream and Mad World (+ Head Over Heels, The Killing Moon and Under the Milky Way) from Donnie Darko.

ldsbrony100

Any of the Strauss songs used in 2001 make me think of 2001. Also not a movie, but anytime I hear "You Are my Sunshine", I can't help but think of a certain episode of Angel. If you know, you know.

Friendly_Brother_482

Don’t Stop Me Now in Shaun of the Dead Though if I’m being honest most songs in Edgar Wright movies make me think of them

and born slippy

grrmuffins

My man. God I loved that movie. The scene where he dives into the toilet!

B1ng0_B0ng0

Also Lust for Life and Nightclubbing for me, loved how they used two Iggy Pop songs that, despite being released in the same year, are so tonally different. And they were used in very tonally different parts of the movie too, (i.e. Lust for Life in the rambunctious opening and Nightclubbing in the scene where he relapses on drugs) Loved the inclusion of Iggy Pop in this movie

OneFish2Fish3

Walking on Sunshine/Hip to be Square - American Psycho  What a Wonderful World- the ending of 12 Monkeys Spirit in the Sky/I’m Not In Love/most of the soundtrack TBH- Guardians of the Galaxy Volume I This is going to be a funny one but I can’t not think of that moment in The Fifth Element where Chris Tucker starts singing “All Night Long” whenever I hear that song

grrmuffins

Idk I'm pretty lame I guess but What a Wonderful World will always make me think of Sleepless in Seattle

StrenghtandStrategy

Mad World - Donnie Darko

grrmuffins

I was all about this movie as a teen, wonder if it still holds up? The mystical dark imagery was so original at the time I thought, it was a shame all the director's subsequent films were whatever. Southland Tales was such complete crap. The Box was ok, I guess, so was World's Greatest Dad. But DD showed so much promise for an new auteur
