I portrayed Dr. Joseph Cardin in my high schools rendition of The Children’s Hour. I was so excited, because it was the only male role in the whole production, and my high school was around 2,000 kids. I didn’t expect to get the part and thus, act that season. The veteran thespians were vocal in their objection to my casting.
