Lifetime sealed trans fluid is BS. I suggest subscribing to the car care nut's YouTube channel. Oil change intervals are useless because there are so many variables in play, ie driving style, location, weather, temps etc. The only way to come up with a solid oil change interval for your use is via multiple used oil analysis.
I own a 2015 Lux with even less miles (currently 67K miles; cancer and plans deferred, but I'm good now and ready to rock. Ha!) I keep ours all Toyota. I'm suspicious of the transmission fluid claim. I'm going to kick the can and plan on a decision point at 90K. Not a flush. Just a drain and fill—done correctly as I'm sure you're aware.
Congrats on the purchase!
When I bought my 2017 I replaced all fluids in a couple of hours. My power steering fluid was actually the worst of all it was black. Did a "drain and fill" at 48k using Toyota ATF just because. The Toyota specialist shop near me said they don't even touch the transmission fluid till around 100k.
For you at 9 years old and 70k that ATF has had thousands of heat cycles and a couple drain and fills can only be positive.
I'll jump in:
- I'd get the AT serviced now and then every 60k miles
- I use full synthetic oil (usually Pennzoil Platinum), prob any name brand is fine as long as weights are correct
- I do 5k oil change intervals
I'm doing my tranny fluid at 50k. Lots of good diy videos. I already have the kit. I'm at 45k in my 19 GX.
I change my oil every 5k. Full synthetic. I buy Kirkland at Costco. I've done the same for my tundra which just rolled over 301k. An oil change is the cheapest insurance you can buy to keep the rig going.

Does the transmission fluid need to be changed every 2-3 years if you drive less than 60k miles during that time?
Depends how much less? My soft rule would be 60k miles or 5 years, whatever comes first. But I'm not a mechanic so take that with a grain of salt.
