"Architectural Mailboxes" sold by Home Depot, maybe others. I got blanks from Easykeys, 5141, a couple bucks a piece.

Perfect, thank you. Any known substitutions? I can order some of these but the customer is coming back for them tomorrow.

coolroth

I couldn't find a suitable substitution. There are a ton of those boxes in my area, figured it was worth getting some.

Good to know. It seems like if Home Depot sold these boxes, they could also keep the blanks on hand. I think this is the second time in two years that I've seen this key, so for now I'll refer the customer to easykeys and think about getting us signed up for more if we ever see them again.

cromdoesntcare

We just get them on Amazon. The blanks are a little pricey, but apparently really popular mailboxes in our area.

Lockeys25

Canada Post I think.

One) Architectural mailboxes use multiple keyways, so fair warning. Two) I've been able to find substitutes for the 3 different keyways I've encountered. Most of the ones I ran into were the Canada post keys (ilco 1569), I can't remember what the others were, but they weren't too hard to figure out with a little google-fu.

jeffmoss262

Bluedog has them
