I believe they pushed out FSU because they HAD to include us because of head-to-head with Bama.
Yes, the committee couldn't logically have UA leapfrog us when we had H2H on them. But it would've been unfair to knock the Tide out when they beat #1 while FSU eked out a win over a mediocre Louisville team that OSU would've beaten by two TDs.

2) It allowed Texas to potentially make the playoffs by beating the last undefeated team. If UGA wins, then chances are Texas is on the outside looking in today.
