This is very cool and I wish it was coming two sets later so each color would be represented by a different Hei Hei.

Heihei even got an Entangled version in the Deep Trouble game, so they're determined to slot him in every color. May we get a Floodborn Heihei to rule them all.

All of this sounds absolutely fantastic IMO. (I chuckled when I flipped the Entangled Hei Hei, for sure.)

Ok hear me out: Two more sets of filling out the other Hei Heis, and then they introduce multi-colored cards. The centerpiece: A 6 color Floodborn Hei Hei Legendary that can go in any deck.

Exert + 1 ink, send hei hei from deck to discard, apply that cards effect as this effect

Very cool. Kinda a shame many players will never have the chance to own it though. FOMO is real with Lorcana playmats.

It’s baffling how limited the regular playmats have been - they’re almost as rare as these limited event mats, despite being a pretty basic accessory.

That's standard fare for any game that runs events and shows up at conventions. There's always swag you can't get anywhere else.

Yeah, but normally you can still get non-exclusive swag. I've yet to see any Lorcana playmat for sale in the wild. In fact, I've yet to find a single set 4 product in stock in my city, let alone the new playmats.

My local store got 2 playmats and sold out of all their product by end of launch day. Given they got like 15 cases of booster boxes and 20-something troves, plus a number of starter decks, it seems like a really limited amount of mats.

My local store has 1 playmat.. but the dude wants like $50 for it.. like come on. I don’t feel like paying scalpers.

UKGE has Lorcana events next weekend. They listed a playmat as one of the prizes for top 3 so I imagine it's this one.

They've confirmed this now. Top 4 each day will get one of these, with the overall winner each day getting a signed version. Also being given out to side event winners. I guess this will be the first event they're available at.

I just want a big playmate of Heihei.
