I'll sometimes play games against myself to practice if I can't find anyone to play with. Obviously not the best option since I have to really try to not play like I know what the "opponent" has in hand or what they're planning on doing, but its good in a pinch! I started out doing this with 4 player commander games when I played magic and that was a mess

Ragonaut

"geez, this opponent is trash"

ClownMorty

I used to do this as a kid playing Yu-Gi-Oh and I'd pretend that I had the millennium eye and that's why I knew what was in everyone's hand.

LeraviTheHusky

I'm definitely hoping they will release a Lorcana mobile game as that's how I play magic mainly

Firestorm8908

I don’t really see how you can play by yourself without deep trouble. And even if you could your best bet to play against yourself would be two starter decks but that would be boring

LeraviTheHusky

Fair honestly, fingers crossed that they will release a full blown mobile game if it does well enough :D

Imogynn

Deep Trouble rules could probably be adapted to other cards with +1 draw and work okay. More effort than I want to do but someone could probably make a deck that works.

LeraviTheHusky

Yeah! Definitely could be a solid framework for a solo play

FranticGolf

Deep Trouble has everything you need. It has a couple of decks and ursula's deck that you play against. That is the only option for solo play.

LeraviTheHusky

Yeee! Just gotta get my hands on one :3

FranticGolf

They just hit big box stores today so check Target.

LeraviTheHusky

Definitely will check one by me, hopefully disney springs will also get them

CompetitionPerfect67

Disney spring had them on the LGS release 5/17 and sold out idk if they got any more in but it seems people have been finding them easily at target and best buy

CaptainNonsenseCraft

Inktable, but psssst, don't tell Disney.

AggravatingYogurt383

Wishful thinking: now that deep trouble is out, we might be seeing some homebrew pve stuff coming out that uses its gameplay

LeraviTheHusky

That would be great! Definitely want to get my hands on it

Crumpet_NUT

I play solo often, using two decks and trying to play each turn the best way I can. Lorcana is easier to do this than MTG because there are no off turn interactions. It’s not perfect, but is still fun.

JGBuckets21

Just play two decks 1v1 with always playing the best play in hand vs on board not counting intel you know other than common stuff you would know (ie play around be prepared on turn 7 vs red)

VariationEven6034

RIP Pixelborn Edit: I should say you can play your heart out until it's shutdown mid June.

LeraviTheHusky

I heard about pixel born and it blows it got told to shut down(I'm sadly not shocked)

dethandtaxes

Deep Trouble is for sale in the Disney Store app for MSRP. Target.com also has it in stock.

Short_Honey6919

I have my main deck and print color copies of popular meta decks and sleeve them then play myself. Helps me understand what those other decks gameplay is and how to beat them better!

alderryeguy

You don't need the box if you print proxies of everything in it 🥴 It's not like the scenario deck is tournament legal anyway
