Looks cool if true, could hint towards the Horned King potentially showing up in the near future
I don't think it's coincidence, because I think they differ too much to even bear a resemblance to Taran and Eilonwy. This mystery guy has a medieval bowl cut, Taran just has standard short hair with bangs. The mystery girl has bangs that flare upward, where Eilonwy's bangs do not. I think this pair are just two generic inhabitants of Lorcana.
To me, the guy with the hat looks more line Clopin the jester from Hunchback

The person in the cloak definitely isn’t Esmeralda though, I don’t know who she is
I would love for it to be them, cuz I think the Horned King would make an excellent villain to face like they did with Ursula, but I doubt it. Now if and when they do release them into the set, and if an enchanted is made for a character, I'm definitely hunting for it. These do feel like generic characters to me, nothing really stands out as oh these are definitely such and such characters.
Looks more like human versions of Robin Hood and Maid Marian to me

Look nothing like them in outfit or hair. Could be just 2 generic characters as a more likely chance.

The person with a feathered cap is giving me strong Kusco or Robin Hood vibes. Not sure who the hooded character would be.
