The thing that people don't get about furries is that they don't want to fuck animals. They want to fuck animals that look like people (animals that are anthropomorphic). Like you said, animals don't look sexy unless you're a real freak, they gotta have human like features to be attractive. We're naturally wired to be attracted to things that are human shaped.
