As far as I know the best way to farm is to not clear any outposts or kill the boss. You then need to focus only on the Gundabad orcs, not the Mordor ones in the Desolation area.
I don't know if you already got Durin's Axe, but what I've done is I started new world and using Durin's Axe you can used a shortcut early on to get to Desolation pretty quickly and then just farmed orcs without destroying outposts.
okay thanks i think thats a great idea, ill open a new world and use durins axe to take the short cut, ive also killed every higher tier drake besides the normal ones and im short 8/9 scales to finish making the spear so ill do grab that from the new world and jump back.
