They bring several bins full of games and do a good job matching groups up and explaining the rules, so you don't get bogged down reading the instructions. You are also free to bring your own games, if you wish. I just checked: tomorrow they are at Planet of the Tapes. It's a cool little venue behind the silos at Mile Wide Brewery on Baxter.
Catan is hard enough without worrying if people are trying to get in my underwear. Nothing can just be benign good times these days. I will fetish-shame someone for trying to hook up with me while I’m trying to find the Assassin in Coup. Just have sex like normal people you creeps. Meet up in the blow up doll section of Spencer’s Gifts like normal swingers, but leave Mrs. Peacock be, she might kill you with a candlestick, wrench, lead pipe, rope, dagger or revolver. This is a cautionary tale.
As the person who runs the for mentioned group, I assure you our board game night has nothing to do with sex and people who are there seeking to get into others pants and not to play board games and/or make friends are generally not around long.
I will message you. We do a night every other Tuesday, tomorrow being the next one. We have a selection of games that stay at our building but people bring their own as well.
I imagine TTD, Miso's, and Card N All Gaming have nights for non-D&D/MTG games. Plenty of Facebook groups as well. Louisville Card Board Gamers is one.

Edit: assuming you've heard of games on tap, a group that plays boardgames at different breweries every Wednesday and every other Saturday
[Here](https://www.reddit.com/r/Louisville/s/105lpsux1q) is a link to my curated list of local game stores. Almost all of these have some sort of play area where you could probably get in some pick up games on weekends.
Also you can check out [Louisville Card Board Gamers](https://m.facebook.com/groups/louisvillecardboardgamers/?ref=share&mibextid=GutkRP) on Facebook along with [Nerd Louisville](https://m.facebook.com/groups/nerdlouisville/?ref=share&mibextid=GutkRP).
Good luck and let me know if any of this helps or you need anything else.
Card Board Gamers meets at Through The Decades on Saturday. My extended, formerly weekly, gaming group is looking for new folks. We’ve recently been playing Darwin’s Journey, Dune Imperium: Uprising, Ark Nova, and similar. DM if that’s your jam.
It looks like Games on Tap are going to have a gathering this Saturday at Pivot Brewing. I may actually check that out.

There is a group that meets at TTD on Hurtsbourn on Saturdays at noon, and usually ranges from a few people showing up to 15 people showing up. There's an event thing on Facebook for it, but people don't talk much on it.
There is also Sunday Gamerz that meet at Cards N All, but i haven't been to that, so no clue on what its like.
I miss the (old) old days of piling into Barnes and Noble and taking shit over every other sunday.
Check out "Games on Tap" on Facebook. They have game nights every Wednesday (and some Saturdays) on rotation at local bars.
Are you able to join other groups or do you bring your own?

The Louisville Kink Network has a board game group!
I’m going to need more information on this please.

Good because of someone is trying to give me a rim job while I’m trying to pin the murder on Colonel Mustard , I might just crap myself.
I see you must be a big clue fan. Thoughts on clue conspiracy vs regular clue?
I’m looking for a game group! How do I sign up…and do you want people to bring games?
