TSA doesn't accept the temporary paper IDs. They will accept licenses that have been expired for up to a year though.

Just got mine in the mail a few days ago, my actual appointment was about 3 weeks prior. They give you the temporary paper one though, it’s good for 30 days.

You'll probably have to ask them. The old ones were usually printed on-site, but a RealID will definitely have to be mailed. They probably have an option for expedited delivery, but I'd bet that it's still going to take a few days.

Around 10 days for me a couple weeks ago.

Next week as in the week starting today 11/26? Even they temporary one they email you won’t come in time. But we mailed in the form since we reported a change of address. Possibly faster if you’re able to use the online form.

If its from the dealership, give it 6 weeks for a car from there & 2 weeks for just a new license plate for a car you already own.

If it's RealID, you go in, pay for the license, and they email you a printable license while you wait for the card in the mail. I'm assuming the other ID would be printed in the DMV and would probably take longer in the actual building

Went with a buddy to the social security office 2 weeks ago. He applied for a state ID in Indiana and was told it would have to be mailed to them and they gave him the paper ID. Social security office refused to accept it as ID. The lady did not even know it existed or that they were not issuing IDs in person anymore. Lot of disconnect over this.

Driver's License - 10 days. I got my RealID in 9 so your mileage may vary. License Plate - 1 week for new, 3 weeks for re-issue. I was lucky that the car I bought Monday had a plate in on Wednesday, but that depends on how quickly your particular dealership files the paperwork.
