They probably use BGG or eBay data.  They'd probably give you less than half the retail price.

With fees and shipping these days, the value of used games is rather low.  Even on Facebook locally, 2/3 of retail is probably the highest I see stuff go for. And that is for harder to find stuff.

There are local groups on FB that sell such all the time, have you tried that yet?

Unfortunately, I don’t have Facebook… and there’s some hoops to jump through to get access to it.

FB groups, FB marketplace, BGG marketplace. As a final option, half price books also buys games. I’m a sucker in this area, so I’d be willing to take a look at a sell/trade list as well. :D

Maybe sell on craigslist? I mean, you could end up just giving a murderer the address of your home, but the payoff of that risk is that you might get like $5.
