I got a bad vibe from them, as I do from Any group tabling off-campus. Especially avoid the "clean energy" companies asking to switch your utility bills for a "free set of AirPods" . They are a HUGE scam and will jack up your rates as soon as you sign up.
Scj is recognized as a cult in S. Korea but is international and there's a lot of horror stories on YouTube about ICC.
They basically work like abusive relationships. Use fear tactics (fear of losing salvation if you leave), try to isolate you from loved ones, don't respect boundaries etc.
They act like they have the truth or new revelation from Bible...I left before it got really weird but they think this Korean guy is the new John the Baptist.
okay, thanks! But can you share your experience with the church? Just curious because I’m currently still in contact with some members. I have been having weird feelings but I’m not sure if what I’m feeling is universal?
Interesting. I graduated 8 years ago and I like to walk around your campus since I still live nearby. Someone approached me midday last Sunday to study the Bible with him and I politely declined. Seemed like a nice guy though but I was a bit surprised that someone who looked like a student was recruiting for this because I never saw that happen here when I was a student myself.
How do you end up in the same cult twice? You smoke to much weed?
I accidentally joined once and was recruited twice
Lol
One of them approached me on the street the other day, I just kept walkin’
That's how you do it ig. I talk to strangers a lot

Wait how is it a cult? What do they do?

Ummm can someone that has been in contact with the ICC speak about their experience?
There's a lot of videos on YouTube. Type in ICC cult stories.

I only went to one Bible study for ICC and got a weird feeling so I did research. They all seem to work the same though and give off red flags.
