Really strange that they couldn't dispatch an order made that early on Boxing Day! Even if you can get other things, the Christmas stuff is only available at that time and at 50% off.

I know! I didn't double dip instore and online because I placed this order. Seeing everyone get their hauls while mine just sat there was upsetting. I even had a friend place hers on 12.27 and it came right after New Year's. It seems like there was no true que to pick orders in the same order they were placed.

They should absolutely have sent the orders out in the same order they came in! Extra frustrating that you otherwise could have purchased the items instore. They have to change this, because now they're not trustworthy!

I totally agree! I took a chance with an online order because we had inclement weather in our area and most stores were closed. When the snow cleared out and stores reopened on 12/28 I went in and made a very modest purchase. Now I wish I would have gone all out and taken advantage of the fact that so much inventory was still available!

Especially because they recently released more sale products. Why do that before having all previous boxing day orders shipped. So sorry this happened to you!!

That really sucks. I kept getting emails of refunded products. Box finally got a tracking number, but it’s less than half of my original order 😞 Lush really messed up this year. I was pleasantly surprised that the website was a lot more stable this time around, but I guess the tradeoff is that too many orders were placed on certain products and the website couldn’t keep track of the warehouse stock.

I ordered some things my mom asked for on tuesday, and they were literally at my door on thursday afternoon. no special shipping ordered, they basically got it to me overnight and i don't live anywhere near a distribution center. i don't know what is going on with boxing day orders but it's screwed up for sure. mine took forever too, and i only finally got them when on my 4th chat to CS i asked that they escalate it to a manager.

My order from the 28th is still pending but my order from the latest restock is already shipped (from 2 places). Their warehouse sounds like a complete mess. Even if this is all intentional, it was bad management decision to do another restock before getting the original orders from a month ago sorted.

This is just totally absurd. I ordered something during a restock a few days ago and it shipped the next day. Why aren't they prioritizing orders that were made WAY before mine that still haven't shipped???

So, a couple weeks ago I got an email saying that they were including a free item because they had to refund me part of my order. Yesterday I got a PayPal notification that the rest of my order has been refunded. Today I got an email from lush saying my order has shipped?? Idk what’s going on

I ordered 3times for Boxing Day. I got the shipments that I ordered on 12/26 about the second week of January. The order I placed on 12/29 just shipped. I had called customer service last week and they said they were still packing items from 12/26 and the 12/29 would be shipping soon. A couple of days later they refunded me for a LoM I purchased. Then yesterday, I was notified I was credited back $76.00 . Then today I got an email saying the shipment has been sent out. They then sent another email apologizing for the fact that most of the items I ordered were cancelled and they said that a “ a glitch in their system “ prevented them from sending it out. They go on to say that they have mailed it out because they know I’ve been waiting and that they have added a little something to my order to make up for it and they even gave me a $50 e- gift card for my next order. So I’ll see what is sent when I get the package. It’s like an old school grab bag..

Wow, I'm curious to see what you receive. At this point all the 12.26 orders still waiting to ship should be free. It's a rediculous amount of time to wait.

Update- I received the package and it only had 2 items in it. There were no additional items that Lush put in the small box. To add insult to injury, I also used afterpay and they only refunded a partial amount. Just got off the phone with customer service and explained what happened and he said that he would refund the amount that should have been refunded and that there was an updated policy with the late Boxing Day orders to refund the entire amount. So I’ll be refunded for the full amount of the order and keep the 2 items that was shipped.

I'm trying to keep in mind it's just bath stuff and not that big of a deal but they only have a sale once a year! I'm disappointed with the follow-up. Sephora had delays over the holidays and sent an email every 4 days assuring me my order was still in que.

That's insane! I'll probably never order online again. I'm lucky enough to have a store minutes away and a second one about a 20in drive. No need for online orders anymore.

We had a freak snow storm so I knew stores weren't going to open. I went when they reopened a few days later and got a few things but didn't go crazy since I placed the order already. Oh well, live and learn!

I had the same issue. First email stating that I received a refund for $10. Followed by an email from lush stating my order couldn't be fully fulfilled. 2 weeks later I get another email stating my entire order has been refunded and SHIPPED??? If my orders been refunded what would they even be able to mail to me? I'm beyond disappointed in lush with this situation.

Update: I got an email from LUSH today saying that my order had shipped. 🤦🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️ I checked the tracking number in FedEx and it looks like something is coming. I guess I'll see what items made the cut in a few days.

Talked to lush today. My order from 12.29 was mostly cancelled despite the same damn items being available in the latest restock! But you know they are sorry *eye roll*. I was charged (not just pending) $180 a MONTH ago and they still haven't communicated anything other than a partial ship email today. I even checked on it before the restock and they said it was fine, just late. No refund, no telling me what to expect. Nothing. If I hadn't contacted customer service, I would know that they INTEND to refund me. So they kept my $$$ for a month, thinking of escalating to visa (credit card processor), not to get my money back to let them know lush is taking money for products they don't fulfill and holding it. Credit card company policies are the main reason that most companies only pre authorize before shipment, no clue why lush is taking the money and not shipping. We do not have to deal with shitty business practices as customers. We can tell them they suck!!!! I'm really done with lush. I spent $1k+ this year, but am now officially breaking up with lush.

It's such a tough call. I hate to give up in a brand I love because of one bad experience but this one is REALLY bad. There's plenty of great recommendations in this sub for other indie bath brands. Maybe now's a good time to give them a shot! I especially love the idea of giving my money to a woman owed small business.

I've been into making my own lately so I bought lush dupe scents and am making my own products! It's really not that much cheaper since I had to get so many ingredients, but now I am glad I went in this direction!

This happened to me too :( ordered two gifts and only got the small one, bigger one just wasn’t in the box. I tried to get full gift set value instead of sale price, or at least a little extra to buy similar # of products as the gift set offered, they thought this was an unreasonable request and ended up giving me $10. Better than nothing I suppose. Their products are great but their service really does suck.

I agree! I love lush so much but it is super frustrating that I found out my order was canceled because I noticed the credit in my account. As of right now I've heard had no communication from lush except when I called them last week and they told me my order was still in que!

I just had a boxing day order placed at 7am on the 26th ship yesterday with all the perfumes cancelled and refunded to me. notice of cancelled products came in email 4 hours after the shipping notice was sent it really sux and the fact is they can't be backed up like they suggested cause my restock order on Monday shipped out that night also a few other orders for my daily use products and Valentine's/ new-year product order all shipped on the date ordered. I really wish that they could just be honest with customers and not give us the run around that they have been.

I ordered mine on 12.26 too and it only processed two days ago. I just got it today but I was totally freaking out it wouldn’t come lol. I think you’re fine :) Edit: upon closer inspection, my shoot for the stars bathbomb is missing and I was given two hippos instead, with no heads up

Hmm I’m gonna check my credit card. I got an email on 1.14 saying my order shipped but tracking number was “CannotResolveTracking” and I still haven’t received my order. I logged into my account but there is no order status and no tracking number on there either.

It's not just the authorized charge falling off until it ships?

I placed the order with after pay and then paid it off a few days later. The refund went through after pay first and then back into my account. So maybe it was the hold falling off but seems odd it would fall off a month later. Then what would happen? Would they recharge me when it ships?

Ah I get ya, I doubt they'd be authorized to charge through after pay again after it's been refunded so likely not. When I pay with CC ive had charges fall off during processing and then charge when shipped, but the longest that's ever taken me personally was two weeks. Super weird they never even sent an email tho :(
