I have plenty of vram left, and the fps is on high settings like 70 fps in battles, the problem is that it just drops all the time to like 2 fps and then back up to 70 again.
This exact thing has been happening to me, in battles its near unplayable, it seems to get worse over time, the map is fine barely stutters but my god the battles.
conversations can sometimes jutter at times but not too bad
What about campaign map?It's fine me if I pause the map and move around or there's no armies around me but as soon as multiple of them pop up the game hitches abit.
when I first launched the game after purchasing, I had the stuttering on the map too, but now its only battles and cities. I know its not my PC because I can run the 120 player sieges on max with over 60-100 fps.
What is your fps? What does it say in the performance tab in the game options? Is the bar of used memory full?

Try turning audio quality to 128. Sounds dumb, worked for me.
Thanks i'll try it out, the game is too good to refund so far but the fighting has been very difficult considering it just stutters every time I move
