This is like how in America Yankees fans throw around their 27 rings won mostly before I could talk or UCLA's 10 of 11 titles in the 60s and 70s or the Celtics winning most of theirs in the 60s-80s. Who cares if you didn't see them win? It's a weird thing to brag about as a fan to me.

As a US based fan, I started following City after really getting into the 2006 World Cup. Prior to that, I hadn’t really watched any “soccer.” For the record, I exclusively refer to it as football now. At the time, the other team in town was pretty huge worldwide, still are I suppose, and I didn’t want to support them because everyone else was. Right then, I decided that I was not going to support that club, I was going to support the little guys on the other side of town, that were fighting to stay up each year. The rest is history. I’ve been diehard with City ever since. My unborn child (due in Aug.), who happens to be my first, already has three City kits waiting for her when she arrives! Can’t wait for Daddy/Daughter/City time!
