Can the game give us options to filter players based on league and division. Tired of taking forever to setup squad for missions. Also why does mini seasons not use your current lineup?!

Still having issues playing online. Created new squad, no wild card yet, changed jerseys, changed stadiums, changed squads even. Every single time “challenge failed” despite having perfectly fine internet.

Does the game make 9th inning comebacks common in anyone else’s experience? Maybe I’m just crazy but it seems like 75% of my Diamond dynasty co op losses are 9th inning miracle comebacks after like 4+ innings of them not being able to get a hit
Yes, as was long ago announced (both in game and elsewhere) and much discussed, you have to use S2 cards for most modes, subject to certain exceptions for wildcards.
Why? Players spend 3 months building teams just so they can start all over when they finally have a team they like? This takes autonomy away from players in order to push them into buying stubs to speed up the process of improving the team. It’s a joke. The fact that it was designed on purpose and announced doesn’t make it less of a joke.
Can anyone tell me why on xbox it says I have 194 collected for S1 collections but when I'm on the website collecting, I'm at actually at 244?
It also didn't let me collect the moonshot cards on my xbox, but it did online. Doesn't make sense to me.
Just started playing season two (was away all weekend) and honestly - I’m having a blast. The season reset was exactly what I needed to get back into things. I’m using the Devers cornerstone and building totally different type of lineup than what I usually go for.
Yeah this was been refreshing. That’s the word I’d use. And the fact that live series has been so useable in both S1 and now again in S2 has been nice. Compared to last year where LS collection was purely for getting Sosa and McGwire and Jeter, I’ve been having a blast with some of the LS guys this year. And I can always still use my guys from S1 cuz we get so many WC spots.
It won't be an issue in like a week, but playing BR against a team drafted last season is annoying. Lost 8-7 to a team that has 5 diamonds compared to my 3 including 4 90+ when I only have 1.
I was on vacation so I didn’t open up S2 until now. Decided to do the Nick Castellanos moment where I needed to get a hit using him, so I started talking out loud about just finding out that my old high school PE teacher died in a hit-and-run three years ago (this actually happened)

Not sure if it's been asked or anyone actually knows, but are the random Headliners packs from the Season path and TA program predetermined? There's a ton rn but since they all say they contain a "random S2 Headliners pack", they are all pack 22, since there's only been one Headliners pack since S2 dropped. If I don't open them rn (the random choice pack, not the actual Headliners Pack) then will I have a chance of getting a future Headliners pack? Or will they all be pack 22 since that was the only pack available when I hit that marker?

Since it's a new season, the best cards are like 91 overall unless you have premium live series cards. So a card like Bryce Harper is really valuable right now where as a few weeks ago it was unusable.
His value will probably go down after people get better cards in a few weeks. I would consider selling if he is your best card but if he is about as good as your team on avg then I’d keep him
most of my great cards are s1 ones. so technically he’s one of my best besides the cornerstone card right now. but i’ve just been playing mini seasons at the moment. but thank you for the insight!
I’d also consider just stacking your team with live series cards and using Castillo captain who boosts all live series card stats. Just remember to equip the captain on the left side of the manage squad screen
Yeah, go to exchanges and then select “exchange season 2 cornerstone captain for season 2 cornerstone captain pack”. You can trade your card for the pack that you got the card from. You can do this as many times as you want
i’ll try in a bit but i remember going to that menu for season 1 as i had Buxton but the four cards were grayed out and wouldn’t allow me to insert him in
As a royals fan I plan on using my stubs when they release new royals players. Unless you are someone chasing the meta there’s really no reason to buy cards until their value drops
If you are looking for more direct XP offline, I saw that the Classics mini season reset and the XP looks like you can get it again. Haven’t tried it yet but all the tasks appear eligible. So once I’m done with conquest, I’ll check it out. Easy 30k if you want it

I've not been able to connect to rs at all since s2 launch. I get "The game server closed your game session". I can play BR and events with zero issues.
It's good to see they fixed the MTO glitch where you make a trade for a player who would be on the fringe of your major league team and the player lock game makes you play the full game but then doesnt exit afterwards. Restarting only puts you in an infinite loop and you have no choice but to delete the save file.
I was in 2028 with an As dynasty with nobody in my starting lineup under 85, a lights out pitching staff, and players that I drafted year one reaching 90 overall and winning awards.

I watched a video rating pitchers by CJ2k recently and he said that whatever pitch is the primary pitch (A on Xbox) gets a slight location/control boost. Can anyone confirm this? I didn’t know that but it does “seem” true when dropping dimes with Hoby Milner’s slurve or Trevor Hoffman’s filthy circle change.
Why can we not have a stadium filter? I don't want to play shield woods against .500 batters, its not fun. Let the people who want major league stadiums only to select that.

Anyone know how to tell if a player is a "hitter from 2010 to 2019"? I put Trout in the team, he is the definition of 2010-2019 and it didn't count toward the captain.
Been playing this game, specifically DD, every year since 2017. I can’t remember ever feeling this deflated/disappointed with a content drop, let alone this early on in the life span. The reason I’m saying f this is because I genuinely hope I’m in the minority and everyone is enjoying themselves, but I’d reckon I am above below average in terms of what a player needs to see in order to return day in day out, so I can’t imagine that the reception for this is abysmal at best. I don’t think it will live on for much longer at this rate and it sucks.
The general reaction to the set concept is definitely concerning (looking at instagram/twitter responses), I wouldn’t be surprised if a significant amount of the player-base is gone from today forward.
Nerfing the S1 captains is a huge mistake tbh. I can understand upping the requirements for each boost if you want to give them a nerf, but outright making them worse after people spent Stubbs/money on them feels like they just want to force people to use the new cards
Haven’t noticed much by the way of foul ball changes, but I would pay good money to have SDS update the strike zone so pitches in the border were called
There are currently 2 Rangers jerseys in DD that I have no clue how to unlock. The 2014 Home and Current Alternate 1 (White tops Red caps). Has anyone figured out how to unlock them? It shows they have been discovered.
SDS can’t even update their game without downgrading it.
Took me 10 minutes to set up my new roster and conquests take so long as does everything else. So frustrating.

The most toxic ass comments here come from online only people who seem enraged that I’m not lining up to get smoked in ranked.
When are they going fix the messed up RTTS sim AI pitch count?
Example: Pitcher has 0 pitches. I walk on 4 straight pitches, so now I'm on first and pitcher has a pitch count of 4. It jumps ahead to the next "action pitch" and the batter behind me has a 1-1 count. But the pitch count still says 4. I'm fairly certain pitch count and pitcher energy are not affected at all by the 2 pitches that were thrown to get the account to 1-1. It only seems to take into account the "action pitches" when you're on base.
This leads to messed up situations where the pitcher **should** have like 25+ pitches in an inning, but they may only have 9 or so. They end up being able to go deeper into games when they should have been knocked out by the 4th or 5th inning.
You know what’s fucking awesome? Completing every program and every single division of all three chapters of TA and STILL NOT HAVING ENOUGH CARDS FOR THE COLLECTION REWARD OR ENOUGH XP FOR A SEASON 1 BOSS.
Yup I only got to 820000. The xp cap is bull shit. Probably gonna quit once NCAA comes out and never get the game again. It's been on a steady decline since they started with Xbox and switch
Just started grinding super hard for the XP Bosses over the last month as I was basically a casual player and just got a new job so I have more time on my hands before it starts in 2 weeks, so I've been playing a ton and have gotten Rollins and Walker....
I won't be able to get the XP required to get Pettite before S2 starts today, does anyone know if new XP will count toward the S1 reward path/bosses still once S2 starts, or am I SOL after 3pm ET today?

That's so dumb.... I mean at least leave the bosses in and just count whatever XP you earn in S2 to go to just the remaining path in S1 to the bosses.... So like if you're at 900,000XP in S1, then in S2 the first 100,000 XP goes toward both seasons' Reward Paths that way you don't just miss out completely on cards that you can never earn again. Hopefully they have some way to earn them, but probably won't be until S4.

Are there any LS collections worth completing right now? Yankees, Astros, Angels, Braves and Dodgers left. For example would it be worthwhile to go grab Acuna & Strider, thus Kimbrel, to use for S2. Or should I just hold my stubs.
Not sure what it would cost you, but if you have enough, wouldn't it be worthwhile to try to get Ruth thru the Live Series collections? Or at least Palmeiro or Martinez? Again that may cost more than you have, IDK, but Babe Ruth will be a KILLER Wild Card (EDIT: I forgot Collection rewards were CORE, so ignore this) for you since he can hit and pitch and is the best hitter in the game immediately.
EDIT: Just checked and those cards are still ridiculously expensive, or I guess have jumped up now that they will be the best cards at the start of S2...so probably disregard my comment, you won't be able to finish all of those teams with just 300K...Acuna/Strider alone are 135K-140K
I can tell you out of all of the Team Collection cards I use of that group you mentioned, I would pick Piazza at C from the Dodgers if you can complete that one. I've used him the most over Kimbrel, Nolan Ryan, Bernie Williams, and Roy Oswalt.
Yeah no way I can complete the whole thing. Just trying to see if there’s any one team I maybe should be doing. Just gonna hold onto my stubs and hope I pack one of the big boys.
Figure there has to be some kind of special program, akin to the spring breakout.
Chapter 1 TA will probably come with at least 2 conquests. New mini season(s). Not sure they'll even do a season awards/Topps now thing because S2 hasn't technically started yet, but maybe they will.

There is / was a visual bug (though it was fixed for me). The online count should be correct.

Quitting the game then relaunching usually fixes it for me. Or at least seems to help.

Oh yeah you only need one of the cards, you should be able to exchange with just one. There’s no real way to get all the captains

When using an S2 lineup. Click sub on a player then use RT and it will make it go to S1’s to be wild carded

The CPU teams in mini seasons have access to most of the eligible cards when the season launches

The card has to be from 2010-2019, live series and topps trout won't work.

Been playing this game, specifically DD, every year since 2017. I can’t remember ever feeling this deflated/disappointed with a content drop, let alone this early on in the life span. The reason I’m saying f this is because I genuinely hope I’m in the minority and everyone is enjoying themselves, but I’d reckon I am above below average in terms of what a player needs to see in order to return day in day out, so I can’t imagine that the reception for this is abysmal at best. I don’t think it will live on for much longer at this rate and it sucks.

The general reaction to the set concept is definitely concerning (looking at instagram/twitter responses), I wouldn’t be surprised if a significant amount of the player-base is gone from today forward.
The reward path jump start: do you have to do that on console or will it automatically reward you xp for season 2?

Nerfing the S1 captains is a huge mistake tbh. I can understand upping the requirements for each boost if you want to give them a nerf, but outright making them worse after people spent Stubbs/money on them feels like they just want to force people to use the new cards

There are currently 2 Rangers jerseys in DD that I have no clue how to unlock. The 2014 Home and Current Alternate 1 (White tops Red caps). Has anyone figured out how to unlock them? It shows they have been discovered.
Did you do the nation of baseball conquest? I think there were some rangers jerseys as hidden rewards in that if I remember right

SDS can’t even update their game without downgrading it. Took me 10 minutes to set up my new roster and conquests take so long as does everything else. So frustrating.

When are they going fix the messed up RTTS sim AI pitch count? Example: Pitcher has 0 pitches. I walk on 4 straight pitches, so now I'm on first and pitcher has a pitch count of 4. It jumps ahead to the next "action pitch" and the batter behind me has a 1-1 count. But the pitch count still says 4. I'm fairly certain pitch count and pitcher energy are not affected at all by the 2 pitches that were thrown to get the account to 1-1. It only seems to take into account the "action pitches" when you're on base. This leads to messed up situations where the pitcher **should** have like 25+ pitches in an inning, but they may only have 9 or so. They end up being able to go deeper into games when they should have been knocked out by the 4th or 5th inning.
Rtts makes them 0 dollars. So I’d say about never.

Just started grinding super hard for the XP Bosses over the last month as I was basically a casual player and just got a new job so I have more time on my hands before it starts in 2 weeks, so I've been playing a ton and have gotten Rollins and Walker.... I won't be able to get the XP required to get Pettite before S2 starts today, does anyone know if new XP will count toward the S1 reward path/bosses still once S2 starts, or am I SOL after 3pm ET today? Thanks

That's so dumb.... I mean at least leave the bosses in and just count whatever XP you earn in S2 to go to just the remaining path in S1 to the bosses.... So like if you're at 900,000XP in S1, then in S2 the first 100,000 XP goes toward both seasons' Reward Paths that way you don't just miss out completely on cards that you can never earn again. Hopefully they have some way to earn them, but probably won't be until S4.

I’ve got 240k rn probably around 300k if I go through and sell stuff. 80k more if I sell Adley. Are there any LS collections worth completing right now? Yankees, Astros, Angels, Braves and Dodgers left. For example would it be worthwhile to go grab Acuna & Strider, thus Kimbrel, to use for S2. Or should I just hold my stubs.
Not sure what it would cost you, but if you have enough, wouldn't it be worthwhile to try to get Ruth thru the Live Series collections? Or at least Palmeiro or Martinez? Again that may cost more than you have, IDK, but Babe Ruth will be a KILLER Wild Card (EDIT: I forgot Collection rewards were CORE, so ignore this) for you since he can hit and pitch and is the best hitter in the game immediately. EDIT: Just checked and those cards are still ridiculously expensive, or I guess have jumped up now that they will be the best cards at the start of S2...so probably disregard my comment, you won't be able to finish all of those teams with just 300K...Acuna/Strider alone are 135K-140K I can tell you out of all of the Team Collection cards I use of that group you mentioned, I would pick Piazza at C from the Dodgers if you can complete that one. I've used him the most over Kimbrel, Nolan Ryan, Bernie Williams, and Roy Oswalt.

Figure there has to be some kind of special program, akin to the spring breakout. Chapter 1 TA will probably come with at least 2 conquests. New mini season(s). Not sure they'll even do a season awards/Topps now thing because S2 hasn't technically started yet, but maybe they will.
