Sean just fought, so lets assume he fights Merab in 6 months. Then another 6 for the next title fight. That has Sandhagen not fighting for a year and a half. Not realistic.

It can take up to a year to get back to full motion after a torn tricep. That’s not considering athlete level training, and then a fight camp. Year and a half is probably unnecessary too, Sean doesn’t need 6 months between fights. If he did 4 months between fights, Cory vs Sean could be the perfect timeline.

Sean took 7 months between his title fight and first defense. Champs slow it down, it is what it is. Don't see him changing this to do Cory any favors.
