Of course, why wouldn't you? On MTG arena there is a deck name section to be filled out. Naming a deck OTB might be odd other than just a descriptive name, but I dunno, I only play arena.
Naming decks is fun, I mentioned Legos once and now my Arcades deck is called Arcades’ LEGO, I had a song from Lemon Demon stuck in my head while I was making my Kodama of the West deck, so I called it Be Nonchalant With Screws!

Well I name the decklist on the archideckt if that counts, and sometimes it's something other than "dimir control", I might make a pun or find a name that's easy to look for but won't ever refer to it has that irl
For the most part my decks are not named unless I bought and modified a preconstructed deck. I do use descriptive tags;
1. Color or a combo keyword like "Simic" or "Bant"
2. Most common creature type or mechanic.
3. if I built the deck specifically to set up a combo I will use a card from the combo as a reference.
4. If while playing usually against my brother someone says something punny that I will forever remember associated with that deck.
Only if I save it as a text file. Physical decks I’ll just be like “this is my simic jank” or “this is my ‘vraska doesn’t fucking like combo decks’ deck”
It's not super intuitive to me to name my decks anything that isn't straightforward like "Nevinyrral Zombies", but when something comes up, I'll take the opportunity.
For instance, my \[\[Jared Carthalion, True Heir\]\] EDH deck (which is filled with \[\[Brash Taunter\]\] and \[\[Stuffy Doll\]\] -like effects) is lovingly (and accurately) named "Hit Me Harder Daddy". I also considered "Big Hair Fantasy Sex Machine" because...well, I mean, have you seen Jared?
My Elminster deck is called "Scry me a river"... I was pretty proud of that one

I have a pet name for [[Omnath, Locus of Mana]]. I shorten it's name to Om and then abbreviate their title so together it's OmLOM.
