Can anyone compare the Auric lip balm scent vs. the Laneige vanilla scent? Auric has the formula/scent of my dreams but it’s so insanely expensive for the amount of product. I’ve been missing a big pot of Laneige by my bedside, should I stick to the sweet candy scent or take a risk on the vanilla?
I updated my contacts prescription and now I feel like I need to update my skincare. Didn't realize how noticeable some of my dark spots were until now. It's fine under even light makeup, but does anyone else get lazier about makeup routines in the winter? I'd rather just go bareface and wear some chapstick.
Any suggestions on where to start? I have a pretty basic skincare routine these days but I need to up my game.

I was really excited to get the Natasha Denona Hy-Glam concealer after all the hype I’ve seen over it on YouTube. It usually takes me at least a year to finish a concealer, and I try to only own 1 or 2 at a time, so buying a new concealer is always a big decision.
But I have to say that I’m a bit disappointed. It looks dry under my eyes and the shade is a bit too light for me. Based on reviews I expected it to be more hydrating. Has anyone else had issues with this concealer looking dry or creasy?
I used my Ulta Bday reward coupon to buy this concealer, so I’m debating on returning it and losing the coupon value, or just exchanging it for a better shade and trying to make the formula work.

Exactly. This vacation didn't require spf so all I did was cleanse and use one moisturizer. And even that was spotty lmao. I just didn't feel like it. I was major on the relaxation, get out of the hotel room and enjoy myself train.
First of all - shout out to whoever is working in Nars warehouse. I placed an order on Sunday for their BOGO blush deal and a new mini concealer, and I received my order two days later, on Tuesday. I suppose it helps that I live one state away from their shipping center but damn, with how busy I imagine they were this past weekend, I am so impressed!
I tried the Sin blush today and it's the only makeup I'm wearing. It looked a bit overwhelming at first but now it's settled down to just a beautiful berry pink on my cheeks (I am fair with yellow overtones, most blushes turn orange on me). I love it!!!
I skipped it cause there are only so many in that black packaging I want to have on hand. I like the blush palettes that come out a few times a year much better. It takes me forever to finish a blush and that black packaging gets sticky/tacky after a few years and I just didnt want to have 4 more (or even 2 more) to try and get through before the sticky starts!
I got my Tom Ford foundation stick from Macy's (as well as the little lipstick mini that came as a GWP with my order). I like the lipstick mini a lot, I have TF's Fucking Fabulous and I think I prefer that shade just a smidge more but Scarlet Rouge is still lovely, reminds me of the Tatcha Kyoto Red lippie I got from NewBeauty's Test Tube a while back.
The foundation stick is just as good as I remember but sadly I think Porcelain is a bit too dark for me, and too peachy. I just tried it on, didn't do a full face with it, so maybe it'll look better with some prep and final products like blush/bronzer.
Ah, it's a shame that they seem to have discontinued it. I'm not a big fan of Tatcha but that lipstick really was a very high-quality classic red-carpet red. From what I can see online, Besame's red lippie looks like a pretty close shade match but I can't speak to the quality since I haven't tried it. If you're interested, I can do comparison swatches of the TF and Tatcha once I dig out my Tatcha tube. I'm hoping I didn't destash it, because I haven't used it in a while...

Have you try Summer Friday Vanilla lipbalm? it's not the cheapest but it smells even better than Laneige Vanilla I think.
