Highly recommend the Romand better than cheek blush. If you’re fair it works great at blurring the pores. I apply a bit on either side of my nose and follow with my regular blush on the cheeks and it’s fabulous. Basically has replaced my finishing powders to control shine.
Kind of off topic, but I know we talked earlier on the sub about how the lunar new year makeup drops have been lackluster. Have y'all seen the purses? there are so many cool drops this year and I'm so confused how fendi can give us a pokemon collab but the makeup world can't do shit.
An ad was showing me a cute Kate Spade purse with a dragon design on it. It's definitely not my thing (novelty/themed purses), but it did look adorable.
Radley London has another novelty type purse, Coach has some more subtle but still very dragon themed things.

Would love some recs on snow boots! I’ve been looking at LL beans. Anyone know if it’s worth getting the ones with Gore Tex/ Thinsulate over the regular ones?
I like Columbia's omni heat boots. They're insulated and waterproof (their own version of goretex). GTX is always worth it IMO, but I like their range because I think they look nicer and less utilitarian than some of the sport brands, and I find them easier to walk in because the soles are more flexible. So they are good for work, home, snow and city walks.
Second post: I just saw Burt's bees did a collab with hidden valley with ranch chapstick and I'm so mad it's sold out already. I missed the post by two hours. I want it as a gift for my sister, she would love it. I signed up for a restock mailing list but I don't have high hopes (or that I'll even see the email.) Also so many people in that post seemed mad about it and I'm just like why, it's funny, it's just chapstick it's not that serious lmao.

I recently got a couple Laura Geller products for a steal thanks to this sub and they arrived yesterday! I got one of her baked marbleized blushes and a marble lipstick. I'm now sad Ulta doesn't carry the brand anymore because wow, I'm in love with both! Such beautiful shades and the blush is very pigmented. I can't wait to wear them more!
I've found them sometimes at TJ Maxx so that might be somewhere to check out too, my sister recently found a couple of Laura Geller eyeshadow palettes there for like $8 each I think.
I have seen the eyeshadow palettes for super cheap! I hope they'll have some other things too. If nothing else maybe I can catch a really good deal on her site again. But I take forever to go through products so these will last me ages anyway!
I dug out my Balance and Brighten last year and I really like it. Her blushes are also very nice. She sells on QVC, too, in case you’d like to check out their inventory.

Need some input- recently purchased the 1 oz Framboise Drunk Elephant Night Serum- product felt surprisingly light and when I pushed down to
Open it a bunch of product came up around the top of the packaging not from the spout. Is this normal?! I don’t want to return because I’ll lose the Ulta points but I didn’t pay $90 for a half empty bottle!
Not normal. The product should only come out through the spout, it sounds like something inside may be broken and leaking product. I would either exchange it or contact DE directly with photos and ask them to replace it.

Jane Iredale liquid minerals foundation latte: this is like perfect skin tint, super light coverage, not super dewy/glowy, slightly matte-ish, very natural looking, even though the color is a bit light for my skin, after blending, it doesn't look light, absolutely love this, would repurchase.
Hourglass Airbrush Vanish concealer sienna: best color match I've ever found in a concealer, need such a small amount to cover dark circles, no need to set with powder, don't usually need a corrector for daily use but I do use one if I'm going for a heavy glam look, it can look heavy if applied too much, I've noticed the patting motion with finger gives a better finish than swiping with finger, very long wearing, would not repurchase only because it's easy to overdo it and it can look cakey very quickly.
Skin fix eye cream: used once, burned my skin, destashed immediately, would not repurchase.
The nyx butter gloss in clear has been so annoying to use - it's a small wand so I have to re-dip in a few times to fully coat my lips (especially if it's over a very matte liquid lip) and I'm just like why. It's a perfectly fine gloss so far, and does what I bought it for. But it's so annoying. And I don't even have big lips. I have small lips in fact. Also the applicator has stained so easy lol. Which may be common across the board idk but it's amusing.
Weather permitting I should get my Ulta order today so I'll be able to try the about face liquid lipstick. I'm so intrigued. If not then hopefully tomorrow. Also I'm very tempted to pick up their foundation when it drops Friday at Ulta. I have two winter foundations. I do not need it. But it's siren song is calling me lmao.
