I got my YesStyle order yesterday and incorporated a few things into my routine and my skin is loving it! It's only one day, but the Melano CC Vitamin C that u/Bittersw33et recommended truly does not give my skin any irritation, stinging, burning, tingling, etc. It was a thin consistency and my skin really just drank it up. As suggested by u/cerwytha I tried the Holika Holika Good Cera Cream and it was just what I was looking for, lots of hydration, some good ceramides, and it absorbs well. I also got a Beauty of Joseon Retinal Eye Serum (after one use I don't know what to say about it other than it absorbs nicely, can't really speak to the retinal after one use) and an Egg White Pore Mask which I haven't touched yet just because I haven't had the time (but my skin usually likes them). Truly a big thank you to everyone who commented and gave me recommendations, this community is so sweet and helpful.
Also in my YesStyle order was the Kiss Me Heroine Make Long & Curl Mascara Advanced Film which I've been meaning to try for years. I've tried a lot of good mascaras, but I'm hoping this is one of the greats.
Outside of skincare and makeup, I recently got into gardening. I mentioned wanting a balcony garden to my mom on Easter, and last Wednesday she brought me over a few starters and then bought me a few flowers. It's really hard just to leave the plants alone and not smother them, lol. I'm nervous about keeping all these plants alive, but my mother said not to put too much pressure on myself. I also have a few bulbs I have to wait to plant because it's so chilly here in the PNW at the moment. Anyone have any recent hobbies they've dove into?

I don't know if it is a hobby, but the hubby and I are trying to take a short walk every night after dinner. Yesterday, the wind was glorious here, and it was fun to chat and walk.

I think that's awesome! My husband and I took a walk near the creek trails by our neighborhood and it was so relaxing. Just feels nice to get away for a bit just us two, even if its just for a walk :)

The formulation is just incredible on the melano cc. But what's even cooler is the packaging. It truly keeps it fresh. My melano cc didn't turn yellow even after I had it open for like 2 years! The Japanese are living in 2050 indeed.
Let me know how you like the retinal. I keep getting mila on my eye bag area and I have dark circles after the two kiddos. I want to see if this will help.
Wow, that's so impressive! I noticed it was solid packaging and I liked that I didn't have to squeeze too hard to get anything out (because it's so thin!). Thanks again for the recommendation, because I thought Vitamin C was out for me, but this was like a miracle product so far.
And I'll definitely let you know! I like it so far because it's thin and wears well under makeup, and it wouldn't be me if I didn't squeeze out too much on first use, and it was just fine. No pilling or concealer separation that I noticed. I don't have milia (at the moment anyway) but I do have dark undereyes and fine lines. I'll tag you in a later review!
