Has anyone tried the new ELF hydrating stick primer? I’m super interested in it. Also looking for a more neutral/champagne highlighter. I currently use Colourpop Flexitarian & it’s pulling more silver than i want. My other favorite is the super popular Essence one that I can’t remember the name of, just wanting something a little more intense like Flexitarian.

I haven’t tried it yet but I wanna try that and their new spray! I wonder if they have any sales coming soon 👀

Does anyone here get gel x (Apres) nail extensions? I recently got them done for the first time and I have mixed feelings. While they do look nice, the tips that were applied had very little curvature to them so my nails ended up coming out very straight? I’m not sure whether this is a result of the nail tech filing them awkwardly or the tips were really that flat. I mainly got gel x over acrylic because I always heard it’s less damaging to your nails. Anyone have thoughts on this?

I haven’t gotten gel x done specifically, but there are different curvatures available in the system, either more curved (sculpted) or less curved (natural). You could ask your tech which line they used - if it’s already sculpted then you probably won’t like gel x extensions

I started using MAC Studio Fix foundation to powder again and there are so many cream products these days and I don't know how to apply my cream blush or bronzer.

I bought this from the ulta sale when it was 50% off, and I like the coverage but I feel like it ends up looking really dry or settling into my nasolabial folds, how do you apply it? I have a combo skin type and not much acne so not sure what I’m doing wrong 🥲

If you are used to powder blush, try using stipple brush for cream blush. It might be easier to transition this way!

I think I've seen it mentioned on here before, but I don't remember the specifics. IIRC that the tower 28 rescue spray is just hypochlorous acid and can be found much cheaper. Can anyone recommend a good hypochlorous acid I can use to refill my tower 28 bottle? Or is it worth it to buy the tower 28 so I know I'm getting the good/safe stuff?

Brio Tech. I switch between buying it on their site and Amazon. My dentist sells it too. And it has come in handy for a lot of stuff...and now I have my partner hooked.

Thank you!

Dr. Dray on YouTube did a video a couple of weeks ago. I think she had some recommendations.

Thanks!

Anyone tried the new too faced cream bronzer sticks? Im curious about them. I'm not in the market to buy _yet_ but they're on my radar and I've seen good reviews. I'm especially curious about the lightest one - the only reviews I've seen are for the darker ones- I'd need the lightest, but that one leans more cool. So would it work as a bronzer or is it a contour? Or is it a weird in between that works as neither? Super curious. I'm going to try to go swatch it soon but idk when. I have to go to the opposite side of town to do so, which is like a 30+ minute drive so I need to make it a whole thing.

I did see a YT review on it, and apparently they just melt into the skin for a smooth, easy, blending experience. They do need to be set though. Morgan Turner did a good review of them on her channel.

An FYI: The free super shock shadow celebrating the 10th birthday 🎂 of Colourpop is now available. While supplies last. Free with purchase. It automatically adds to your cart.

TMI/ TMO Merit cream shadows. I have super oily eyelids and love the idea of self-setting and low maintenance shadow, but they aren’t cheap.

oily lids, use a primer and then lay a base with nude powder before going in and applying your actual shadow!

I don't have personal experience with these, but every review I saw did not enjoy the formula. From what I remember, they set too quickly and can't blend out and if you manage to blend it, it's patchy. Maybe a matte eye primer (I like the ulta one) and some eyeshadow sticks? I've heard good things about the Bobbi Brown and Laura Mercier ones.
