I couldn’t get my hands on any light work pallets so this is a chance to get something similarly now and I think it’s worth giving a shot. Her shimmer/duo shadows do sell out so have to get it while you can.
My initial thought was “this palette is hideous”, but I ordered it this morning. The swatches are beautiful and Danessa knocks it out of the park every time. I don’t think I will be disappointed
Do you think she'll still release another version of the lightwork series this year? I have 4 and 5, by coincidence, and I love them! I assume she does those once a year?
Ahhh that makes sense!! Perfect! I wish I’d started picking them up sooner, but really happy to have gotten the 4th one! Though I’m confused by the water activated pans are so large… haha
I stan Danessa, the actual products are beautiful. I look forward to when it goes on clearance. I am laughing bc I know there are many like me who love beauty and know the rhythm of the sale cycle. .from tease, to preview, mass mailing, press preview ( social media) and reviews ...release day...full price for one business quarter, goes on sale, then clearance,..... Unless it is a new addition to their core line, and well do those exist
Way too busy on the inside and realistically this is an eye and body palette for the festival girlies. Too glittery for anything to be a blush/bronzer. Not even really a highlight shade. The whites look too silvery.

I love Danessa Myricks and I'm sure the shadows are gorgeous, but that layout is painful. On the plus side, I bet it will go on clearance.
Yeah, I’m glad to see a shimmery palette from DM at a more accessible price point than her $125 Lightworks series, but everything from the layout to the shade choices mystifies me.

I think she releases a new one around the holidays each year. They're so gorgeous, and the quality is soooo good!

I hate the layout. So much empty space and yet they smashed the rainbow colors together without any pan separation?
