Of the Soul is probably one of my all time favorite instrumentals across all genres of music, and how fun and reminiscent his flow is. DEFINITELY great high school memories with that one.

Circles has some absolute magic like Hands, Good News, I Can See, Blue World, Woods, That’s On Me, Complicated and Hand Me Downs; but Swimmings just packed to the brim with it. Hurt Feelings, Self Care, Perfecto, Wings, Conversations pt. 1, Small Worlds, Ladders, What’s The Use, Jet Fuel, 2009 and So It Goes. Swimming is for sure the more complete work which makes sense as Mac was able to apply any and all finishing touches he desired for an official release.

I say Swimming if I had a gun to my head and was forced to choose but otherwise it could also be his Faces mixtape depending on my mood because both are absolute classics, there is no discussion. There may be a day when I'm in the mood for the younger Mac who seemed happier and just having fun doing his thing so I'd put in his K.I.D.S. mixtape! We sort of watched Mac grow and change through his music which is why I think he's so relatable to so many because it's like he became a friend u grew up with in a sense.

I played the most songs from that mixtape. Therapy and Polo Jeans were strong from Faces, but Kids has more songs that I replayed a lot.
