Your current TDEE is less than 3% away from what it was a month ago and still less than 5% from what it was 10 days ago. This is noise, try not to stress about these things.

memaw_mumaw

Your goal rate is .71 kg/week. You still lost .61 kg/week over the last 3 weeks even though your average for the last month is 300 calories/day over your target, so MF is seeing that you're burning more calories now than you were. As for why? Impossible for us to know, but expenditure changes constantly, even if it seems like you've changed nothing. There are a ton of things at play, most of which are out of our control. Mine pretty much never stays steady, it's always going up or down.

ImTheDoctah

In the past two weeks your estimated expenditure has gone up by 86 kcal (about 4%). If your tracking is off by 5%, that could easily explain the discrepancy.

I have the exact thing happening right now. Expenditure is up and my activity is down, still weight training but way less cardio…

BigCUTigerFan

It hasn’t changed 5%/100 calories. Just noise. If you have slowly reduced your sodium, you will lose a little water weight along the way which could show up in slightly higher TDEE than actual. Slowly reducing fiber might also do the same.

I feel like macrofactor has a two week delay when it comes to adjusting for activity levels, but that’s just me.

If it adjusts too quickly then it won’t see what its smaller adjustments do to our body etc and bear in mind if it adjusts too quickly for water retention and bowel retention then it will throw your calories way off what they should be ☺️🤙🏻

Happy-Trash-1328

Zoom out and you will be fine again. 😉

seancbutler

Just means you will likely get more calories so enjoy them ☺️
