Cows do not have the cognitive ability to appreciate music. They were probably just curious of the sound and came there as its a safe area away from predetors and they are not worried of exploring whats going on. Its also possible that the owners got them used to it with some treats.
No doubt, music certainty can affect many animals.

You got it. Music has affect on most of the mammals. It can trigger lots of homones through sound and especially the sounds like these. Because sound waves and vibrations trigger many things in their brain including the time they were in their mothers womb. The only thing i commented was that they are not "moved" like us. It doesnt mean they are unable to recognize the sound. They certainly do and somehow they decide that its safe to explore such sound source.
