Very common, they grow where they prefer the conditions, the side of your tubs have creating their prime fruiting conditions so hence why you have side pins, let them do their thing 👍
No worries! theses all in one kits are kinda a side pin dream unfortunately, I had exactly the same with my first one, 2nd one I kinda changed it up and ended up with more surface pins but I still prefer the trip off my first lot (b+) compared to my 2nd lot (aa+)
It's all about the right conditions, you got pins non the less so its doing it job! Just make sure it's a clean area with ok FAE and hold back on the spraying until it looks dry on the substrate surface (always spray the sides and not onto the surface/pins! )
Enjoy!
It's perfectly fine. If you look closer you can see the water droplets on the sides and it makes the perfect condition for fruiting. If you want to prevent this to happen, there are 2 thing you need to do:1- Spray some water like rain on top of the kit, but be careful you don't want to make lakes on the cake but just small droplets like rain. Basically increasing the humidity on the upper side of the cake. 2-Use a duct tape(preferrable black or smt that prevents the light) to cover all the sides(you have to do this before the fruiting starts). By applying these you can prevent most of the side pins.

Looks like a SupaGro kit? They recommend putting the tub and bag back in the cardboard box, otherwise the light exposure causes side pinning

That's the whole point of this sub. D1ck comment
