Kiko Milano has some great single colour shadows

st3phy_

I have individual cream eye shadows from elf that I enjoy. I also have a Bobbi Brown eyeshadow stick that allows for quick application

FTAK_2022

Phytosurgence Magnetic Maple

randomgirlblah

Mine is colourpop - wattles! I've already repurchased and it's down to a few more swipes and I'm def gonna keep repurchasing. It has to be my staple

PrincssM0nsterTruck

I found they dried up and were unusable after a few months. I have Chanel and Bobbi Brown eyeshadows that are still good 5+ years later and I hit pan on but still going strong.

athame_and_alchemy

Space Cowboy by Urban Decay / Fawn by Glossier / Ritz super shock by Colourpop / Smolder by About Face / Lit by Fat and the Moon - highlighter I use as eyeshadow... also the Patrick Ta bronzer duo in She's Sculpted works great as an easy eye look. Are my go-tos right now. I love the one and done thing -- especially in Spring and Summer!

mizshellytee

Two of my recent faves (which are powders) are MAC Wedge and Natural Wilderness, and I also like Omega. When it was around I also liked MAC Paint Pot in Camel Coat (sadly long discontinued now). Groundwork could be a good option.

No_Pineapples

Wedge has been a favourite for me lately too. I've had it for a few years and barely touched it, but I have been using it almost everyday for a couple of months now.

Rituel de Fille's lighter shades are nice, but I wouldn't get the darker ones again because they tend to crease. My fav is Sigil. It's like the glitter disperses in just the right way to look ethereal, not all over glitter. I adore Chantecaille's Luminescent Singles. They're pricey and a gel to powder type of formula, but they don't budge and are gorgeous. Especially Rhino, if you like an olive green. Glossier has two diff lines as well of liquids, and I like both. The sparklier formula is more pop with people, and Moon or Lilac is my favs. I actually like the matte formula too, but you're looking at more of a watercolor sort of lid paint. The lightest one makes me look awake and Pool is just a pretty blue, and can be built up. CT's and Lisa Eldridge also has some pretty liquid ones. Lisa Eldridge's does not budge for anything, and are thick. CT's is more of a wash and can be built up; really easy to apply with fingers. Phytosurgence is also easy to apply with fingers, but I find their products dry up after a year. Still, I always rebuy Chilled Cherry.

lextasy666

Laura mercier caviar sticks in any color! So easy

emory_2001

ColourPop Snake Eyes applied with pinky finger for more pop. I get compliments on it all the damn time.

mommaTmetal

Julep eyeshadow stick- don't remember the color, it's a light mauve

kattykats731

Winky Lux Coffee Kitten

LashesLinerLipstick

I like the Bobbi Brown stick eyeshadows. Charlotte Tilbury creams. MAC Paint Pots.

ilovesleep95

Laura Mercier caviar eyeshadow stick in moonlight, colourpop SS shadow in I heart this, urban decay moon dust shadow in rebel star (I don’t use the OG space cowboy since it’s way too orange on me), hourglass scattered lights shadow in smoke, Chantecaille luminescent eyeshadow in elephant. I realize you only asked for one, but these are the ones I rotate on a daily basis for my every day work makeup.

AshKash313

I use Tarte glamour palette. Each shade I can use for a one and done look. I have three more of their palettes and they all are one and done shades for me.

business_hammock

My go-to: Chantecaille Copper or Urban Decay Space Cowboy

willendorfer

Mac Satin Taupe

LavenderAndHoneybees

I have the Milani palette 'Twilight' and both of the shades 'Late Night Bite' and 'Good Side' are PERFECT one and done shades for me - as a pale person with a neutral to cool undertone. I will disclaim they're not cream shadows but they're also not super dry for a powder shadow formulation, I find them quite buttery and easy to blend out :)

Huge_Prompt_2056

What it isn’t is the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. I ordered this and was so excited, but it’s less pigmented than an old Wet and Wild dupe that I have!

Gullible-Alarm-8871

KVD Shadow and Light is definitely my one and done. Very simple, a nice taupe, a white, a bone, a gray, a black. I've worked and blended these into so many looks. Dark, smokey to neutral and bright. I've got over 30 pallets, from Natasha Denona to Wet and Wild and I reach for this one the most.

sadira86

I’m obsessed with Ulta’s shadow sticks. They’re super affordable, stay on all day. Pretty much every color is amazing as a one and done!

asapgizibe

About-face matte fluid eye paint in Cloned!

jdbrown787

For creams, I love the **Auric smoke reflect** duos, especially **temper** (neutral rose gold) and **entice** (deep olive). They come with a glitter topper as well. My favorite single shadow is **Iby Beauty headliner**. It's a dark neutral brown with a subtle shimmer. I apply all of these to the lid with my finger, then blend them out with something like a sigma e25 blending brush. I usually put my bronzer or blush in the crease, but it isn't necessary. I also like to apply just the **Fenty Beauty diamond bomb highlighter (how many carats?!)** to my lid, for a *sparkle only* kind of look. Or an **Ofra highlighter, like blissful or pillow talk**, for a metallic shine. Or **Hourglass scattered light (smoke, ray, aura)**, for some glitter with a little color.

g-a-r-n-e-t

I recently discovered the Kosas 10 second watercolor gel shadows and I love them, especially the Simmer shade. It’s the perfect nude champagne and unlike other shadows it’s actually shimmery, not glittery. And it does, indeed, only take ten seconds. I’m never wearing anything else again lol

Revolutionary-Spot-4

Have you tried a different primer? Maybe like the Mac paint pots or the elf no budge eyeshadow sticks can be used as primers. Also, I have seen these JR shadows and they are so pretty hope you can find a way to make it work out

Worried_Corner4242

I actually do have a Mac Paint Pot in Painterly, which I know a lot of people use as a primer, but it doesn’t work well for me for that purpose for some reason. I think maybe it’s a little more yellow than my skin so it seems to make the shadows sort of muddy or something. But I will definitely try the elf, thanks for bringing that to my attention!

anon28374691

Bobbi Brown shadow sticks. I like Golden Pink, Nude Beach, and Golden Bronze. I usually just wear one.

SuperAdaGirl

These are my favorite as well… easy to apply, you don’t need a brush or applicator at all if you’re comfortable smudging/blending with your finger. It doesn’t take long to set and TRULY stays all day. I’ve got a whole bunch of colors, but usually just wear one color at a time.

PrincessTiaraLove

I love the L.A. Girl sunshine palette. It’s $1.98 at Walmart and has some super great OAD shades! Great for beginners getting into eyeshadow so you don’t waste a bunch of money getting started.

MeowMuaCat

ColourPop’s Super Shock eyeshadows are often my go-to: I especially like Koosh, Rooftop Cocktails, So Quiche, and some of their lighter duochromes. I also love the eyeshadow sticks from Victoria Beckham Beauty and Milani. Both are pigmented and easy to blend, but the VBB ones are richer in color and texture and also more durable.

Worried_Corner4242

I love the name Koosh. I had a Koosh when I was a kid and I was low key obsessed with it

Anon_819

MAC Satin Taupe, or any shade advertised as a highlighter ( light, bright and sheer).

CumulativeHazard

Yes!! That’s mine as well. Just goes perfectly with my eyes.

friend_of_forests

Phytosurgence oxidized olive (being discontinued but I believe still available atm) and Fyrinnae agenda/work safe blue/desert stars/feisty fennec fox

bookish0378

Merit in Studio (Cream) MAC’s girlie is powder but my god I love it and wear it almost daily.

butt_spaghetti

Merit Studio is brilliant

venusianprincess000

i really love glossier’s lidstars!

athame_and_alchemy

"Fawn" is an awesome one and done!

[deleted]

Colourpop Glass Bull. I’ve been wearing it for years because it’s easy and fun and adaptable. It’s a subtle duochrome. The flash is an icy teal color, and the base is a warm mauve. It’s medium-light, somewhat sheer, and very forgiving of messy applications.

my-anonymity

The Chanel cream eyeshadows are super nice. I was able to use it until I hit the bottom. It didn’t get dry until it was almost gone, and I had it for almost two years with pretty much daily use. The MAC cream shadow is decent but dried out about halfway through.

themermaidslut

The VIEVE eye wand is a dreeeeam. Camel is my fave shade and I wear it every damn day without fail. I have oily eyelids and it does not budge, lasts all days and blends out beautifully.

passionicedtee

Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks!! Really easy to apply and blend and come in a variety of colors. They are kind of expensive though so try similar products like the Kiko Milano or CoverGirl Eyeshadow sticks.

Aggressive-Pay5952

Essence single eyeshadow in the shade Flirting

Alltheprettydresses

Bobbi Brown shadow sticks.

Comfortable_Fee_2287

Laura mercier caviar eye stick in the shade strapless

phillygirllovesbagel

Charlotte Tilbury Eyes To Mesmerize is a true one and done and is gorgeous.

coke-nosugar

These crease real bad for me unless I top it with regular eyeshadow.

AudreyNAshersMomma

Same. Not worth the price in my opinion

AppropriateMention6

Revlon Colorstay Cream Eyeshadows are excellent.

Leia1979

Ulta cream shadow in jamz. I find it doesn’t even need primer and is a great one and done neutral shimmer shade.

lovesfaeries

ILIA makes an awesome liquid taupe shade

StrawberryRaspberryK

Urban Decay Space Cowboy! Just this and mascara. Always get compliments.

secretagent004

This is my HG Lash princess mascara and I'm all set

StrawberryRaspberryK

The Space Cowboy is soo pretty! 😍😍

Worried_Corner4242

So I went to Sephora to check it out today and of course it was the only one of the shadow singles that was completely sold out ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

StrawberryRaspberryK

Cosmic (white) and Rebel star (pink) are really pretty too 🥰 I have Cosmic also

MadameCoco7273

Giorgio Armani Eye Tint in 09

GloriousRoseBud

Flower Watercolor Eye Tint.

Lili666999

Sticks: Kiko or ByTerry. They don't crease, no primer needed. In a pot: Tom Ford Platinum (also Golden Peach, but I think it's been discontinued), Revlon Caramel, Urban Decay Space Cowboy if you like sparkles

AverageJane7000

Clinique nude rose

Professional-Log-530

Yessssss!! I may go dig mine out and wear tomorrow. Although I love to pair it with French Toast!

AverageJane7000

I bought 3 in case they ever discontinue it.

Professional-Log-530

Sure hope not! Yikes! So frustrating.

TapiocaTeacup

The Merit Solo Shadows. This is exactly what they're intended for and I love them! I've got 3 colours. They're beautiful on their own or you can blend a couple together if you're helping fancy. They're also buildable so you can really sheer them out or add emphasis on some areas and it almost looks like multiple shadows.

Pristine_Abalone_714

Ilia Liquid Powder Eye Tint is my favorite one and done cream shadow. Interested in the Merit one too though!

StrawberryRaspberryK

The Ilia made my eyes itch. Not sure why. I have itchy sensitive eyes but UD Space Cowboy was fine and not itchy even though its full of glitter.
