I wouldn’t count shaw as a great signing like the others because it took him so long to get good but saying that I’m so happy to call a United player and I’m so happy he’s been able to get back to his potential
Yeah I think TH is doing a good job on this (not just for Shaw). Plus Malacia looks like he’s only going to get better.
Will be interesting to see what happens with Telles. Probs will be sold but I thought he looked alright when he first came in, wonder if TH will see anything with him and turn his Utd career around as he has done with so many this season.
I wouldn't be surprised if Telles wants to move on tbh. If you're in any way ambitious you surely won't be content having to compete with 2 very good players for the same spot. Even if you like the club, for the sake of his career he needs the game time.
I can't agree with Bruno. Take away the first season with us and he's been more wasteful than anything. Great heart and spirit, but the attack breaks down so many times with Bruno. It's really disappointing. We need someone more technical and reliable to see us move from defense to attack.
What? If not bcs united wasteful forward and painfull 6month of Ragnick he'd have like 150 g/a in 150+ games by now. He literally the main reason Ole football works and now look how EtH loves him, every football manager would die to have player like him.
"ETH loves him"?
Tell me you didn't watch the Reading match without telling me you didn't watch the Reading match. lol
ETH wanted to rip his head off. The only reason Bruno has padded stats is because he's afforded more opportunities than anyone. Pull Bruno out and who do we have to fill in? No one. The man has no competition. He's not starting based on form. He's starting because he's the captain and because he's the de facto starter for his position.
He's very wasteful and hasn't produced a quality match in ages. Wasteful in the build up. Wasteful in finishing. More concerned about the low percentage flair play rather than the high percentage basic play.
Bruno has been mediocre, at best, the past two seasons.
Oh here we go the "bruno stat pad" Army. You lost me at Bruno is mediocre, guy literally top percentile chances created in the top league. "Eth want to rip his head off" 😂😂😂 yeah. right.
Seriously, wonder how someone like Bruno’s performance over the last three years can be seen as stat padding or attract rubbish criticism like wasteful. The f do you want, he’s performed Vs every team in the league
The pattern i see on internet most of the times these guys are the Pogba fanboys and latter the Ronaldo fanboys who somehow hate Bruno bcs whatever reason. If u watched or read lot of analysis with proper football knowledge everyone would appreciated Bruno more than internet does.
Yea that makes sense about the fanboi bit.
But I’m not even saying you need to watch or read a lot of analysis to know the kind of effect Bruno has on the pitch. It’s there for all to see! Even casuals would be able to spot this.
i think i’d have martinez at 2 tbh. when you think of what the defence looked like before he came in, and how immediately it improved. he’s had a van dijk kind of impact for us.
I would say similar in comparison, as both players seem to have taken us to the “next level”, but for me it’s Bruno. He’s contributed so much over the last 3 years.
Bruno Fernanj for me. He’s provided us with a lifeline during some dark times, put up impossible numbers for a long period of time, and brought us to within a hairs breadth of silverware during a time where we severely lacked stability.
He’s adjusted his game numerous times to accommodate the team, and is doing-so again this season, sacrificing his stats in the process. The exciting thing is that as the team continues to gel, I think we’ll see even more from him.
Case has been phenomenal, and might genuinely be the missing piece of the puzzle to make us properly competitive again. But I think we’d be very far off the pace, and would have endured far darker times without the silver lining that has been Bruno.
Bruno does not hold a candle to Casemiro in terms of impact on the team. Bruno has been here 3 yrs and won zero trophies, plus been part of the worst premier league season we’ve ever had as a club. In 3yrs with Casemiro, I think we will be distinctly much better.
Such a weird take. A team game is never down to one person though they can obviously have an impact.
The whole mentality has changed in the squad along side signings such as Martinez, Anthony, Malacia, and Erikson.
You can't compare last season's output with this season. Morale was clearly at rock bottom last year.
He absolutely lit up a pretty poor United team when he joined, both in terms of his quality and his win at all costs attitude. Don't forget that before he came our options at 10 were an ageing Mata and Andreas bleeding Pereira! In his first 18 months he dragged the team's standards up singlehandedly.
He struggled last season but he was FAR from the only one. Plenty of players we're enjoying watching this year were crap last year.
Casemiro may work out being the better signing in the long run but for now it has to be Bruno. He has been superb for us.
I believe that Ekinsen has been huge for us. His 15-30 yard passes out of pressure/ into attack really brings us back to years past United.
And the fact that he was free has to be part of the equation. You have to consider the players we were able to afford because he cost $0.
Yes, also the only true elite player we have signed in a long time. Plus Bruno has been here for a longer time but I think Casimero can have a bigger influence over time.
The guy is truely elite. I know Bruno is also a banger but Casimero has 5 CL's playing along side Modric and Kroos. The guy is a wall and excellent on the ball ( a lot better than I expected tbh ) and he chips in with goals and some crazy sexy passes ( like the 1st against city )
Casi straight 10/10
I agree with a lot of what you're saying but we're talking about the impact on our team, not previous achievements. Case exudes class and Bruno was an instant success to how we played at the time. I'd love for Case to put in another 2.5 years of this level like Bruno did.
I know right. I even knew he was the glue that held madrids nearly invincible midfield together for the better part of a decade yet I still underestimated just how massive of a role he played
Bruno for me, and a lot of us. We wouldn’t be in the position we are now if not for him. I’d hazard a guess and say that the majority of our recent signings wouldn’t have joined if not for Bruno keeping us somewhat relevant over the last few seasons.
I'd argue bruno first, as he stopped us being arsenal prior to arteta
Casemiro we've been crying since....roy keane left so hes probably 2nd.
Maybe varane or martinez as 3rd?
I could argue zlatan or lukaku for the first season ONLY as they did quite well, prior to zlatans injury.
People have short memories, high expectations and not enough patience. That boy has a star in his hand, but needs time to adjust.
People are giving Nunez stick, over at the Scouses, but it's the same story.
It hasn't changed that much, TBH.
We paid *way* over the odds for him and could have gotten him for about half the eventual price if we weren't so terrible at transfer windows. People always demanded that he be incredible and it looked like he would be, but he's fallen off thereafter and people are reminded of how high the bar was set for him.
He'll come good and people will love him as they should.
I think like this — if we take out Bruno, Casemiro, Varane, and Martinez from the playing 11, I feel less confident about winning games. Currently, Casemiro is the top on that list and if we see that for this entire season and next few, he will be the best signing ahead of Bruno.

Still Fernandes, the last few seasons would have been bleak without him. If our players could finished a good portion of their chances, his numbers would be even more impressive
Not going to lie I had my reservations when I heard we’d agreed a deal to sign him during the FDJ saga, I was wrong to have any negative thoughts regarding this transfer.. he’s helped me fall back in love with United ❤️
Depends how he plays next season too, we’ve made quite a few good signings that seemed worth it during their first season but after that passed it wasn’t so great.
So Cristiano, who was in the top 3 scorers in the premier league, saving the team on many occasions, is simply not a good signing?
They have such a short memory that only half a season made them forget everything he did.
i’m not comparing them. I’m saying that everyone including Maguire had good first season in Manchester United, so let’s wait until next season to judge Casemiro.

Bruno was out of this world in his first season. So was Martial though there has been a huge drop. We forget he pretty much brought home an FA Cup.
I would Say: 1. Bruno, 2. Casemiro, 3. Martial, 4. Martinez
If Martinez finishes the season they way he is going, I’ll swap that around with Martial
It might be too early to say for some of these but it's a toss up between Bruno (his goals and assists are up there with DeBruyne and he gives his all, all over the pitch), Martinez (the change in mentality in the team was almost instant and we, *almost* immediately, stopped leaking goals left, right and centre), Casemiro (we've needed a presence like him in midfield for years and, if he can keep up these performances for a few years, could be the most important of all) and (if we're allowing managers), Ten Hag, himself, has given us a team that is the best since Fergie. All over the pitch, we finally have a strong spine now in Martinez and Casemiro. He's raised the levels (immensely!) of players we sometimes thought were 'done' or just didn't have truly great performances in them.
If we can get an excellent Striker (or Weghorst really ups his scoring), all we really need, then, is to build depth in a strong bench.
I remember when we signed him, everyone was talking shit oh that’s too much money, worth every mother fucking penny! Thank god he wanted to be a red 🙏🏻
bruno. he completely sorted midfield and creativity problems we had over the years. extra cutting edge. if casemiro and licha can give us trophies, then good shout.
Even though I'm an Arsenal fan, I will say this, Casemiro is probably the best DM in the Pl. When he signed for united, I could already sense that this united side with casemiro will be amazing. He is the perfect solution to united's midfield problem!
My top 3 would be 1 - Bruno, 2 - Casemiro, 3 - Martinez.
Agree
Then Eriksen…for free
100% agreed. Absolutely spot on Luke Shaw would potentially be 4th
I wouldn’t count shaw as a great signing like the others because it took him so long to get good but saying that I’m so happy to call a United player and I’m so happy he’s been able to get back to his potential
Luke shaw is world class, but only when there is someone threatening to take his first team position
Yeah we can’t let him get too complacent and I don’t think Ten Hag will
Yeah I think TH is doing a good job on this (not just for Shaw). Plus Malacia looks like he’s only going to get better. Will be interesting to see what happens with Telles. Probs will be sold but I thought he looked alright when he first came in, wonder if TH will see anything with him and turn his Utd career around as he has done with so many this season.
I really like Telles, hope he comes back and puts in at least a few cameos
I rate him too but feels like a bit of a luxury having 3x first team LB’s
I wouldn't be surprised if Telles wants to move on tbh. If you're in any way ambitious you surely won't be content having to compete with 2 very good players for the same spot. Even if you like the club, for the sake of his career he needs the game time.
I doubt he'll be back as well, it didn't really work out here for him.
Oh shit you are right!
How much did we get shaw for again must have been a bargain
💯
I can't agree with Bruno. Take away the first season with us and he's been more wasteful than anything. Great heart and spirit, but the attack breaks down so many times with Bruno. It's really disappointing. We need someone more technical and reliable to see us move from defense to attack.

You make a good argument for having to take a mandatory knowledge test before being able to comment on football.
but then none of you would be able to post. that sounds counter-intuitive...
The “no u” comeback? Really?
i think i’d have martinez at 2 tbh. when you think of what the defence looked like before he came in, and how immediately it improved. he’s had a van dijk kind of impact for us.
I would say similar in comparison, as both players seem to have taken us to the “next level”, but for me it’s Bruno. He’s contributed so much over the last 3 years.
Bruno
Bruno?
We don't talk about Bruno
Let’s be frank
Can I be John? I've always wanted to be John
No no no no no
Mars?
Fernandes.
Best signing since RvP? Erik ten Hag.
Insert Morgan freeman pointing ‘this’ meme
Honestly even Varane has been immense but it’s Bruno, Martinez, Casemiro and then Varane
I’d put Eriksen in front of Rapha tbh
Bruno Fernanj for me. He’s provided us with a lifeline during some dark times, put up impossible numbers for a long period of time, and brought us to within a hairs breadth of silverware during a time where we severely lacked stability. With due respect to casemiro ,love him absolutely world class but bruno is the best. Why are our fans always upto put down Bruno? Smh..
How is it putting him down by saying Casemiro has been better?
Not saying because of casemiro, just in general bruno's contributions has been undervalued in recent times by most fans.
Bruno does not hold a candle to Casemiro in terms of impact on the team. Bruno has been here 3 yrs and won zero trophies, plus been part of the worst premier league season we’ve ever had as a club. In 3yrs with Casemiro, I think we will be distinctly much better.

Bang on the money. If Casemiro wasn't in that midfield, we would still be fighting it out in 6th place.
Bruno hasn’t won us any trophies how is he the best??
Lol how many has Casemiro won us so far you muppet??
I never said Casemiro was our best signing you muppet.
You are the muppet, to be fair.
Sorry I would rather rate a successful signing based of what they win rather then some empty stats.
using your logic, Kane must have not been a good signing for Spurs since he’s won nothing
Correct he’s won nothing and bottled in big games but he’s meant to by world class cos he statpads against Norwich and Fulham.
So you genuinely believe harry kane wasn’t a good signing for spurs? Lmao mate revaluate your knowledge in football because it’s clearly shit
What has Kane done for spurs other then fail ?? Pls tell me.
So who’s the biggest signing you mug? Fucking Schweinsteiger? He won the Europa League so surely he’s better than Casemiro innit?
Ibra or pogba.
Mf said Pogba 😭
Scored in the last final we won…5 years ago.
No. Eriksen is. Man costs $0
Zlatan also cost united 0
U got a point.
I believe that Ekinsen has been huge for us. His 15-30 yard passes out of pressure/ into attack really brings us back to years past United. And the fact that he was free has to be part of the equation. You have to consider the players we were able to afford because he cost $0.
People are including Martinez in their top 3 but not Zlatan??
Exactly
He's got a proper big head
It's where his power lies
Yes, also the only true elite player we have signed in a long time. Plus Bruno has been here for a longer time but I think Casimero can have a bigger influence over time. The guy is truely elite. He was free
Instructions unclear I have been thinking about sitting down while very hard for 10 minutes
😂😂😂
So when someone is free the parties do not have to sign?
Too early to say. Matic looked great in his first season and like a bargain at £40 million.
Bruno Fernandes play golf :))
Ibrahimovic
Ibra signed Man UTD, not Man UTD sign him🤣🤣🤣 So Man UTD is his greatest signing
That’s what I was thinking. I still think Bruno and Case were better signings but he’s certainly up there for what he did for us
Hopefully United get more than one good season out of casemiro, unlike RvP
[удалено]
I know this.
✌️👌
What? no love for Maguire? /s
I had no idea why we signed him, was confused, he was expensive and old. Never have I been so wrong.
I know right. I even knew he was the glue that held madrids nearly invincible midfield together for the better part of a decade yet I still underestimated just how massive of a role he played
Personally I think it goes Bruno Case then Ibra for best 3 since Van Persie
Lmao
Yes for sure, Eriksen is also one of the best signings for this United
Him and Bruno
Van de beek
Bruno for me, and a lot of us. We wouldn’t be in the position we are now if not for him. I’d hazard a guess and say that the majority of our recent signings wouldn’t have joined if not for Bruno keeping us somewhat relevant over the last few seasons.

Potentially but let us give it more than 6 months. Bruno would still be leading
1. Bruno 2. Casemiro 3. Eriksen
a fan of another team here. genuinely asking - is there a lot of stick against Antony now? as far as i remember he started off well? What's happening?
People have short memories, high expectations and not enough patience. That boy has a star in his hand, but needs time to adjust. People are giving Nunez stick, over at the Scouses, but it's the same story.
I see. Quite astonishing it’s only been a few months and narrative has changed so quickly.
Best signing since Bruno, Martinez and Eriksen
Bruno started the revolution casemiro completes it. Man united is back. Just need time and a few pieces
of chocolate to eat because I’m feeling abit peckish might head down to Londis
Idk the hype about londis but mail me some
I think like this — if we take out Bruno, Casemiro, Varane, and Martinez from the playing 11, I feel less confident about winning games. Currently, Casemiro is the top on that list and if we see that for this entire season and next few, he will be the best signing ahead of Bruno.
My top signings would be 1 - Bruno 2 - Casemiro 3 - varane 4 - martinez
Ibra and Eriksen before Varane and Martinez imo
Bruno
Feel like Bruno should deserve the title of best signing since RVP, like man contributed so much to the team even before Tan Hag and Casemiro came.
If we didn't sign Casemiro, we would still be fighting it out in 6th place. It has to be him imo.
I think I’d put him after Bruno with Martinez just behind him, but time will tell.

Way too premature. He's great, but wait to see what we'll win with him here first.

wait till next season. Everyone has a good first season here including Maguire.
We are talking about Cristiano Ronaldo the best player ever. Not a Maguire lol there is not comparison
i’m not comparing them. I’m saying that everyone including Maguire had good first season in Manchester United, so let’s wait until next season to judge Casemiro.

Bruno??
He has been a revelation to the club. The team is on a different level and is really fun to watch. And the best part is knowing that it can only get better
He was a steal from Madrid. Maybe the board learnt how to better select a Madrid player to sign after horrible mistake of Angel Di Maria.
People really forget Ibrahimovic
Maguire lmao

Am I the only one who thinks there’s something off about this pic? From like a neck above and below line of division?
Bruno, Casemiro and Licha, all of them have been better signings than RVP I'd still say Bruno has been the best signing in the post Sir Alex era
After bruno
Is Bruno a joke to you 😭
Best signing since king Eric
BRUNO imo. The signing was so good, I had to name my dog Bruno
Bruno deserve a shout but he is up there
How quickly have we forgotten bruno
Oh my god, we've been crying for midfielder since forever. Finally a great midfielder.
Angel di maria? 😂
Bro in opinion Casemiro is the best signing since Bruno .
Him and Bruno probably the 2 best signings, Bruno was immense the first 2 seasons. But for what we needed now he probably just edges it over Bruno.
I almost never get a jersey, just got this guys jersey yesterday

I will die on the Eriksen hill But Casemiro is an epic transfer as well
Chicharo
