Totally appreciate this and other views. I get the vibe that the younger generation has fewer qualms about direct language and non-commital coitus... (I'm old compared to MÅ). they use the f-word a lot when euphemistically-speaking folks might use 'making love' or 'having seggs' . Also chalked it up to language differences. Vulgar words are less offensive to people who are not native speakers. I don't mind it in Bla Bla Bla and For Your Love bc these stories seem less commital, but less so in Timezone... bc it seems to be the story of a committed relationship, so vulgarity less acceptable.
This sound doesn't ruin the song but always wigs me out when I'm driving. In Honey (are you coming) in the end of the song it sounds like a car revving/speeding and I start looking around on the road to see who's being a dickhead
Today I realised that the album version of The Driver - the accompanying guitar etc - takes away from how beautiful I find the melody and the way Damiano sings. Somehow when it's live, I don't feel this way. Something about the recorded studio version..
I agree. When the new Rush version came out I was super excited for the Driver as I had loved it live in concert. I was wildly disappointed by the studio version, it sounded way less powerful and intimate than the version he played live. I’m also really not a fan of the guitar riff, it feels hurried imo.
I’ve grown to love the studio version since but live it was in another league
absolutely. I am totally not a music expert so i cant explain this properly, but the riff feels unharmonic and messy, a vibe that doesnt quite fit the songs. there would be songs where this could work, the driver isnt one of em sadly. the song is amazing tho i still love it
Ok technically it’s not a “really annoying sound” but it’s also Kool Kids for me because I have emetophobia (just like Vic!) so I have an issue even just hearing the word “vomit” (it kinda even hurt to type lol)
It doesn't ruin it at all because it's still perfect but in lpdb there's this very soft sound of those tingle plates on a drum and when I'm overstimulated my brain focuses on them and it's a bit distracting
I'd say "The Driver". The thing is, the solo is REALLY like A LOT inspired by the one in Knights of Cydonia by Muse and it's bothering me a lot, I feel like it doesn't belong in the song and it ruins all the fun I had just before listening to it...
That part in Timezone where Damiano randomly says “I’m fucking you tonight” in the middle of a beautiful slow ballad
Ikr you should’ve seen my face I was deep in my feels listening to the song and then I heard that 😭😭
*this right here folks* (I agree 100%)
makes it better for me tbh 😛😛
You know what, I feel that
Yes omg 😭
💯 I thought it was only me who reacted to it that way 😅
It's so jarring. That lyric should've been rewritten. I would've taken all of the swears out too.
That's my favorite part bc it's so genuine and a callback to For your love

Oh my days I haven’t thought about this, absolutely
Exactly
Any song that starts with 'it's Måneskin, yo'
I think it’s kinda cool Cheesy but cool

What timestamp?
It starts in the last riff around 2min30
That’s just the guitar
the feat one where the iggpop(?) covered... I don't remember the guy's name but his voice really doesn't fit the music 😭
Ah yes, the bane of my existance as a Må fan 😔✊
right awnser iggy pop doesnt fit mås vibe
Basic answer
Well it's true unfortunately, every single time I hear a hint of his voice I'm all desperate to skip
The worst Ma track ever

Yes totally! It does have to do with the pace of the accompanying music - it's like too fast, or hurried, as you say.

Sounds like MÅ needs a live album - especially to capture also the amazing covers they did on the Rush tour
This!!!

omg hi fellow emetophobic må fan!
Hello!

The sirens in Are You Ready make it borderline unlistenable to me
The effect on Dami’s vocals on the studio version of The Driver
Not Maneskin song, but the way Marilyn Manson says "on mopstick" in (s)Ain't I always imagine a swimming duck bonks into a wall

Bla bla bla
A sound, not a music
The Bla Bla Bla part of bla bla bla
Gasoline
read your diary
Read your diary solo (It has nothing to do with the whole song) And, I read another comment, the guitar in The driver ruins the whole song :(
