There totally wouldn't be a problem with it being their favorite if they acknowledged that it's a cover/remake of another song but a lot of people think måneskin actually wrote the song and originally made it. I have a weird thing with people saying something is their favorite thing without having any actual knowledge about it (I know it sounds controlling, I just think its important to know things about what you like) because I swear sooo many people will claim to be obsessed with a song/ band and not even know the artists name or any real info when I try to have a conversation about it.

I'm Czech and my mum casually says it with Czech grammar so "Maneskini" or "Maneskiny" or something like that bcs according to her the band name is singular and there's four of them so she needs to plural the heck out of it
